"An honest review! Great staff, lovely hotel."

10.0

Me and my husband stayed in this hotel in October for 10 nights and we were really pleased with the hotel and the service. Food & Drink: The food was exactly what we expected from this sort of hotel, if anything it exceeded those expectations. Every night is a different theme, although they did have the staple foods such as pasta, chicken nuggets, rice, mashed potatoes etc. We particularly enjoyed the Turkish food night. As a fussy eater myself, I felt there was still plenty of choice. The food wasn’t always warm but there is a microwave should you feel you need it. The quality of the food was good. We ate in the snack bar for most lunchtimes and whilst the service was quite slow, everything was made to order, hot and delicious. The drinks were great, plenty of cocktails to choose from and they were made by the barmen each time - no machine cocktails! The bar staff were fantastic, especially up in the terrace bar the guys up there are ace! We only found a couple of ‘downfalls’ about the food and drink: 1- As someone with a nut allergy, most things in the main restaurant were really well-labelled, however the desserts were not labelled at all. I had to rely on my husband to “taste test” things but ultimately I just stuck with ice cream to be on the safe side. This was a shame because let’s face it, dessert is the best part! 2- Drinks in the main restaurant - We went through a few meals without any drinks at all, unless you want fruit juice which you can help yourself to. I’m sure if you flagged a staff member down they’d sort you out, but this is difficult when it’s so busy. We did realise if you went nice and early around 7pm they were much better with the drinks service! Room: We stayed in block 5 in a jacuzzi bath room - it was quiet yet still close to everything. The room itself was great, exactly what you need. There’s a safe in the room, you can collect the safe key from reception no extra charge. There’s plenty of cupboard and drawer space for storage, and the room is spacious. There’s balcony isn’t huge, so we didn’t spend any time on it but it’s a decent enough size to hang your towels out. The beds were comfortable and the air con works fine. We didn’t use the jacuzzi because when we turned it on, the water was a bit yellow and so we were put off. The bathroom is a great size and the shower is excellent. We had housekeeping every day and the lady did a brilliant job! The mini fridge is re-stocked every day with water, milk, Fanta and Coca-Cola! The only drawbacks was the noise outside in the hall, the doors aren’t exactly ‘sealed’ so if anyone’s walking back to their room late and they are loud, you’re definitely hearing it. Spa: We booked into the spa after plenty of encouragement from the man who stands by the pool and books people in - we were SO impressed. We payed £90 in total and had a Turkish Bath, face mask and 30 minute massage each - the ladies in the spa were absolutely fantastic and the facilities were calming and clean. We came out feeling like we were floating! Highly recommend. Beach Club: We used the Beach Club towards the end of the holiday and we were gutted we didn’t use it earlier, so we could go again and again. We took the drinks from our mini fridge so we didn’t use the restaurant. The water in the lagoon is crystal clear and it’s full of fish and other friends! It was a serious sun trap and so calming. The bus was an uncomfortable ride for 10 mins there and back but if you don’t mind a couple of road bumps and squashing in with a stranger you should be fine. Reception: We had to contact reception twice, once for an iron and once because our shower wasn’t draining. On each occasion our requests were seen to and sorted within 10 minutes - this was really impressive. The reception are really friendly and helpful. Entertainment: We were really impressed with the entertainment, even at the end of season the team worked really hard and there was something to watch most night! The Cappadocia party was brilliant. The entertainment team were super approachable - some of them even sat with us in the evenings and it was super! If we visited Oludeniz again we’d definitely stay here again!

"Staying at Sundia by Liberty Suncity was truly a refreshing experience."

10.0

Staying at Sundia by Liberty Suncity was truly a refreshing experience. With its peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature, friendly staff, and thoughtful service, my vacation turned out to be far more enjoyable than I expected. The food was delicious, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and every detail was well taken care of. Relaxing days by the pool and the magical evening ambiance made it truly unforgettable. If you’re looking to pamper yourself and take a deep breath, this is definitely the right place!”

"Great budget Hotel in fantastic location"

8.0

Booked this hotel last minute and got it at a great price with Jet 2, its down as a 4* but I would say this is a bit of a stretch and maybe 3* would be more accurate but a good one at that. That being said the staff at this hotel should be rated 5*, they are a credit to the hotel and cant do enough for you, nothing is too much trouble and they all work extremely hard, special thanks to the bar manager who always made sure I had by coke zero put in our room fridge and the guest relations who where always helpful. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and the location is fantastic, minutes to the strip and beach.t. The hotel has its own beach club with free shuttle bus which is definitely worth a visit. The food was good and always lots of choice, only downside was it could have been hotter. We were in room 1031 lovely big room and relatively quiet, big bathroom with good shower but could have done with more clothes storage, balcony tiny but beautiful view. Would I return, yes at the right price.

"It’s okay….."

6.0

We’re here at the moment and I’d rate this place as a 3 star, but a decent 3 star. It was a last minute ‘cheapy’ for us and it’s certainly done its job. We just needed a break and a rest. Pool areas are nice, can imagine in summer they get rammed, as it’s not a massive area but the hotel seems to have plenty rooms. Food, ok, quite repetitive. Pool snack bar is about the best bet. We’ve eaten out a few times. Rooms are again, ok. Nicely decorated and beds are fine - duvet quite narrow which is quite random. Staff all lovely, really happy and helpful. All in all, it’s okay. It’s not the best place I’ve ever stayed in, but certainly not the worst. It’s abit ‘tired’ and could do with a refresh, but it’s still a decent place all in all. Location is great, right off the strip. Entertainment can be loud at night - we have young kids so early ish to bed. Entertainment stops at midnight. Would I come again? Maybe, if the price was right. Would I want to do my 2 week main holiday of the year here, no.

"Great stay"

8.0

Our stay at Sundia By Liberty Suncity was fantastic!!!! The entertainment staff was fabulous!! Kept the hotel guests entertained throughout our stay. The food was excellent throughout our stay too. Good variety of food over the duration of our stay and also a good choice of restaurants such as the snack bar and Italian restaurant. The staff in general are very friendly and warm. Different things to do while staying here in the hotel.

"2nd family visit to Suncity Olu Deniz"

8.0

Our 5th visit to Olu Deniz and 2nd time at Sun City. The hotel is as good as when we visited around 8 years ago. Food is varied with plenty of choice. Special mention needs to go to our dinner server Caner who looked after us all holiday. Great asset to the hotel. The only things I feel let the hotel down were the entertainment information boards were not kept up to date, on two occasions we turned up for a show that wasn't on, or was a different act altogether. Also our rooms (we had two) hadn't been updated for a long time, especially the very tired bathrooms. Other than that it's a good hotel in a great location, good food, and friendly staff.

"Nightmare hotel!!!"

2.0

We took a family holiday on October the 8th for one week for my daughters birthday, we was recommended this hotel by tour operators Tui (who we have also put a complaint in to making them aware) to say the hotel was an absolute misinterpretation of photos and the current reviews it has would be an understatement!! On arrival it was late around 10:30pm give or take, we was taken into reception and given room keys and took up to rooms, my daughters room had bugs crawling in the bed so we called down to reception who advised they would send someone to the room, we waited around 20 mins for someone to arrive and had to tell him to hoover and change bed he only bought a broom! we then went to our room only to be greeted with the same bugs!!! so had to also wait for ours to be also cleaned! the rooms were dirty under beds which was also said. we was late getting down to bar to be told the bar after midnight was chargeable, even though it was the hotels fault we was late nothing was done also we was advised that we would be able to get something to eat as hotel offers a late snack option until 2am - Not the case!!! or room service - also not the case!!! we went to bed that night disappointed and let down. The next day we had complained and was told we had to talk to guest relations - trust me when i say you might as well talk to yourself!! The week got worse we had to be moved rooms at 11pm on the Saturday evening as bugs had returned!! then my Daughter had to also be moved in the middle of the night due to the same thing!! Then our family friend who also travelled with us went down with a sickness after eating the reheated garbage that they served up for food!! we ate outside of the hotel at meal times the only safe option here is the breakfast as most of the options are cooked fresh!! The all inclusive drinks are horrible and anything worth having is extra - wont be doing an all inclusive again as this experience has totally left a bad taste literally in my mouth!! Our friend that suffered the sickness we asked if he could be sent waters and toilet rolls to room - two and half hours later still nothing (what a good practice for this hotel) The hotel was dirty everywhere and management was unhelpful at every turn of events. The only saving grace and silver lining here is that Oludeniz outside of this hotel is beautiful and we will definitely be returning just not to this hotel!! I would warn anyone wanting to book this hotel have a strong stomach you will need it.
