"Wonderful dog friendly hotel"

Wonderful hotel. Great value for money. Courtyard room was really nice. Lots of plugs with usb’s. Tea and coffee and biscuits. Lots of space and bed was really comfy. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and so dog friendly

Would be nice if there were some outdoor tables at the courtyard rooms.

"Excellent overnight stay"

Lovely place for our overnight stopover. We had one of the annex rooms overlooking the courtyard which was clearly a new build. It was spacious & very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size with plenty of space to put down toiletries (some places we've stayed at dont have this). The bedroom was spotless & the complementary tea, coffee, bottled water & biscuits were good. We ate in the restaurant & the food was lovely & service excellent. In fact all the staff were very welcoming & friendly.

The only thing that might be an issue is that in the new annexe room we were in, there was no hanging facility for anything long as there was no wardrobe. There was a rail & hangers above the desk/dressing table, so ok for shirts, etc, but not dresses. This was not an issue for us, but if you were staying over to attend a wedding or similar, I'm not sure where you'd hang a dress. Probably book a room in the main building if this could be an issue for you.

Lovely hotel. Very comfortable and clean. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Had a meal in the restaurant which was very good and the breakfast choice was also excellent. Will definitely stay again when visiting the area.
