In a lovely location

Too many things unavailable. No Yorkshire puddings. Awaiting a part for coffee machine. Room was overwhelmingly hot.

"Excellent Hotel."

10.0

Lovely village pub/hotel. Single room was very comfortable. Excellent cooked breakfast and evening meal. Great location directly on the Dales Way walking route.

Nothing really. The theakstones bitter had run out, which was a shame, but the other local bitter on offer was excellent. Bathroom was adequate, but could do with a refurb. The cold tap on whb was a bit difficult to turn off. The shower screen leaked water onto the floor. Overall good stay, and would come again.

"A traditional comfortable hotel"

7.0

A very traditional country hotel

Most staff very good, however some were abrupt and did not show a welcoming attitude, for example on the first breakfast there was no good morning and before I had sat down an abrupt “tea or coffee” when asked if I could wait for my wife the response was “ I only asked” from the staff member. I was then ignored by this person for the rest of the breakfast. The second night there was no hot water in the shower, also the shower head needs attention a spit in the head meant a very uneven spray. The room was functional but lacked any special character.

"If the cottage was refurbished and brought up to date this would be a perfect place to stay."

7.0

The view from the cottage no 2 was spectacular. The staff were vey friendly and helpful.

The cottage is in need of refurbishment the floors in the kitchen area and the bathroom are cracked and the laminate flooring in the hall is peeling. The sofa had stains on it. The roman blinds in the dining area are broken and had to be held up with the chains.
