Location. 2 of the 6 breakfasts

The room. Plumbing very bad. Shower water too difficult to adjust. Very creaky floor. Middle panel of window is totally steamed up, so view wasn't great. Room decor is very, very tired. Ancient, sad, furniture. Dinners had very kittle choice for vegetarians, and what there was was not great (sag also cottage pie was tasteless and dried up). The check out day we were not told we couldn't leave between 10 and 11 15. It was very expensive for 3 days in that room.

"Nice stay, beautiful village, just a few adjustments would make it amazing."

Great location with lovely views, cottage was clean but needs updating, White Company goods were a nice touch, nice to have everything under one roof.

Staff could have been friendlier, score would have been higher but they kept forgetting things and weren’t attentive enough.

Such a treat to stay at the Red Lion from start to finish the staff were so very helpful the room was perfect clean annd comfortable and the food was excellent. We needed to leave early the next day and this wasn’t a problem for the staff to accommodate and they served our breakfast very swiftly.

If you come into burnsall down into the village the road can be tricky and tight.
