We usually stay in a room in the Red lion itself but had a cottage this time - views were amazing and we had everything we needed; the bed is huge and, despite the hot weather, we slept soundly all night (the room was really cool and looked out onto the river). Breakfast was fabulous. We got married here 13 years ago and it's been a while since we've been back. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Spacious room. Well appointed. Plenty of hot water. Very friendly welcome. Good food and beer.

The seating in the pub needs a bit of attention. It looks a bit shabby. That didn’t bother us but it does prevent a 10 score.
