Iberostar Selection Lanzarote Park

Excellent hotel and very friendly, the friendliest staff I’ve seen at any hotel - thank you to Paco in the restaurant, very hardworking and happy, Leo, Charli at the bar - always a big smile and happy to talk - even pouring the beers before I ask and Salma in entertainment, very enthusiastic !! Right on the seafront with a 1.5 mile walk to the marina rubicon, a walk on the front very nice, no hassles and easy. Hotel had a sports bar - great if you like football and evening entertainment No queues - not too busy, but nice Excellent place to come - I will visit again. Playa Blanca is a good resort with plenty of variety of bars and restaurants. Food is great at the hotel - breakfast till 10.30 - lunch 1pm till 3pm and dinner 6.30 - 9.30 - very flexible and don’t chuck you out like in other hotels. Nothing is too much - a credit to Iberostar !!!

We stayed at the Iberostar Lanzarote Park as a family with an 18 month old in March 2026. First impressions of the hotel upon arriving at reception were fantastic - offered drinks while we sat down as the checking in was completed, while the children played in the kids corner. We were give an upgrade to a sea-view suite which was amazing. Facilities were first class, never had any problems getting loungers by either the main pool or kids' pools. Star camp with activities and soft play was a god-send when we needed to let our daughter run about and burn off some energy. Both the variety and quality of the food on offer far surpassed our expectations - by a distance the best food we've had at an All-Inclusive. Each night there was a selection of freshly-cooked choices for both meat and fish, and the choices for our child were great. Staff in the bar were so quick to offer drinks during the day and evening. The main resrt of Playa Blanca was an easy walk away, and we went most days with the baby in the pram. Overall, the stay we had here was mjch better than we'd anticipated, and we'll definitely be returning for another family holiday.

Excellent hotel, food and service great. We booked Star Prestige and really enjoyed the additional benefits, especially the pool area and the service at Star Prestige pool bar. Another great visit to an Iberostar hotel!

Zimmertüren etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Schûsseln beim Frühstücksbuffet ( Obst und Müslibereich ) nicht ganz sauber. Keine Wand Garderobe im Zimmer.

Hôtel très confortable, familial. Personnel très accueillant, chaleureux très professionnel. Buffets du petit déjeuner et dîner somptueux, très variés. Situation de l'hôtel près d'une belle plage et non loin de tous les lieux touristiques. L'île n'est pas grande mais superbe

Pour moi tout est parfait

I usually really enjoy writing positive reviews of restaurants and hotels but I'm struggling with this. But let's start with the good things. The food is amazing: not just the wide selection but the excellent quality of the cooking. The buildings are beautiful. Designed by the brilliant architect Manrique, it's not as huge and imposing as the photos suggest since each small semi-circle is almost its own little entity with its own pool etc. We stayed in the semi circle round the toddler and kids' pools and it was perfect to wander straight out from our family rooms, which they had put next to each other as we asked. I stayed with my daughter and eighteen month granddaughter and she really enjoyed watching the older kids and building up her courage to enter the water! The rooms are spacious and pleasantly decorated. Now for what lets this hotel down as, apart from the food and the architecture, it is certainly not five star and I have travelled extensively all over the world, First the service . There are some exceptions : big thanks to Carlos, Helena, Sol and Munoz in the restaurant. But mostly the staff at the bar, reception etc can best be described as surly, although they lighten up a bit if you speak to them in Spanish. But that really shouldn't be necessary. The staff member who 'welcomed' us was curt and presented me with the bill almost as soon as I had sat down, although admittedly I had gone to the toilet first, after a long journey. No showing us a map of the hotel etc; just told us to look at our towel cards for restaurant opening times (where be warned if you have kids lunch is only from 1.00 to 3.00). I appreciate they are flooded with tourists but even 4 star hotels do the welcome better than that. OK there is a welcome glass of cava but there is nothing to beat the personal touch. It took the restaurant staff I mentioned to explain to us where Playa Flamingo is (lovely cove suitable for kids) just 5 minutes away. And we wasted a precious afternoon trying to find the Playa Blanca beach: a good 20 minutes walk away. Would a few signs next to the gate onto the promenade be helpful, if you can't manage a proper tailor made explanation during the welcome given my little granddaughter was playing around us? Second problem: I had to phone to check how often rooms were cleaned as ours hadn't been. No real apology. Teabags weren't always replaced. Sorry.. but I really need my cuppa to get me going! The air con was inadequate. I don't know how people manage in summer? A final note: normally even 4 star hotels provide slippers and often a pack for toddlers. This feels like 'green washing' and they could argue that we wastefully throw slippers away. How convenient I would be really interested to know if all Iberostar hotels are like this, or we struck unlucky?

We stayed with 2 young kids in a family room, in the family section by the slides. The facilities were amazing at this hotel. Pool slides, kids club and the little park were all fantastic and gave us plenty of options to entertain our kids when the weather was not great. The location was amazing right by the beach, although walking as far as the marina was quite a distance. Still manageable but it was much closer to playa blanca town itself with lots of lovely restaurants. We stayed B&B and could not fault breakfast at all, it was great and lots of options. All the staff, from reception to housekeeping to waiting staff were all so kind and friendly. My only negative was the rooms. They were fine but a little disappointing for a 5* and definitely in need of an upgrade compared to the rest of the hotel. Some pieces of furniture were broken (leg on the coffee table hanging off), bathroom door was badly damaged, walls a bit shabby and we had 2 single beds pushed together instead of a double which was annoying. The air con was not able to be adjusted even though reception said it could be. In the end they gave us an electric heater which was perfect. They also provided a plug in after we were troubled by a few mosquitoes on night one. These things did not ruin our stay in the slightest but it was not on par with the rest of our hotel experience and I don’t think it would take much to improve them. We would definitely stay again.

We booked star prestige for one week. On arrival we were greeted very well and shown to the star prestige bar for welcome drinks and to book in. Our room was excellent with a beautiful view. We found the food to be generally of a very good standard eating in the star prestige restaurant was very nice and quiet but at times it did get very busy and on the fresh food station there was only on person taking the orders and cooking the food so sometimes it was quicker in the main buffet and far more choice. The breakfast buffet was excellent but again more choice in the main restaurant. All of the staff were excellent all over the hotel and could not do enough for you. The weather was very poor the week we were there it was cold with a constant north wind blowing and very little sun. We found the SP entertainment in the evenings was outside which we did not attend as it was generally not warm enough and there were no contingency plans for bad weather which is something that should be addressed. This being the case the sports bar was extremely busy for their evening entertainment. We had an enjoyable week but it was a shame about the weather which we know is out of the hotels control.

We have stayed previously a couple of times. All stays have been in Star Prestige which for us is the only area we would book. The hotel is lovely. Star Prestige is excellent; the pool area is great and always lots of free sunbeds and shade. Towels are freely available. Food is excellent. But I do wish the Star prestige dining room had its own food lunchtime; no big deal as you have a massive selection in the main dining area. Evening meals were stand out! All staff we met were outstanding; very professional, friendly and helpful. Couldn't want for more. Rooms are spacious and clean with huge sea facing balconies. Very well equipped and well cleaned daily. The Star Prestige bar is superb and from 11.15am each day cocktails are brought round for you poolside. Top drawer drinks all day long and lots of choice. Wines are great. There is entertainment daily and Esther is amazing with so many activities throughout the day and then there is live music each night which was a bit samey with soul singers almost every night but for a change of scene we went to the sports bar and thought the entertainment was better. You cant beat this hotel for a fly and flop break. We would recommend and will return.
