Faros 1 Hotel

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The only real disappointing thing - there was a kettle and cups in the room but no coffee/tea and I hadn’t taken any. There was also no cold water in the fridge either. There was only one other minor niggle - the air con only hit one side of the bed so my husband was warm and I was chilly at times. The shower was great, quite big and good shower head and the beds were comfy. Apart from that a really good stay.

Delightful hotel! Everything is fresh and new, the staff is wonderful. The restaurant has terrific food, massive portions and is inexpensive. I had a nice balcony on my room to let in sunshine and fresh air. The reception staff or any of them for that matter couldn't have been more helpful or pleasant. Easy walked other shops and restaurants. The metro station to Athens is not far away either. Great location.

Staff VERY nice

Check in was great, with help with our cases and large bottle off cold water.Rooms were spotless, bit bare but everything you needed. Even had small balcony. We ate at the restaurant and the meal was lovely and the staff were so pleasant and very helpful. Nothing was to much trouble. Great prices and very near to cruise terminal. We could have walked but took 6 euro taxi as it was 98degrees out. The area was nice with lots of restaurants and cafes. The night we was there it was a street party night with fireworks and music , live bands etc till 5am ,it was busy but never felt unsafe. Will stay here again for sure.

This is a great hotel to stay at before getting on our ship. Very easy to get around and the staff was extremely accommodating and nice.

I’ve stayed in many many hotels around the world with a whole variety of stars and was still super impressed by this hotel in Piraeus. Given we were paying €50 per night I wasn’t expecting it to be a particularly comfortable but I was wrong. Not only was it comfortable it was spotless and clearly well managed. Breakfast isn’t included in the price but the prices are very reasonable and the portion sizes generous. In addition to the above the major benefit of this hotel is it’s proximity to the port. A very short and easy walk.

Very helpful staff and cooperative

We use this hotel regularly for stopovers before catching a ferry from the Port of Piraeus. It is a short walk (with wheeled cases) down to gate E9 and no more than 10 minutes more to the other gates/areas of the port. The hotel staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, the hotel and its bedrooms are all spotlessly clean. Food and drinks are available, as is room service for the same. 10 minutes walk to the Marina (don’t confuse the marina with the port!) which hosts numerous bars and restaurants to choose from. I would have no qualms in recommending the hotel to other guests who pass this way for the same reasons we do. Great hotel, helpful staff, clean and convenient for most things in Piraeus.

I've spent 4 nights there, and everything was above expectations. Good spacious rooms, full equipped with good amount of amenities in the room and also a 2L bottle of water COLD upon arrival. Good delicious menu with decent prices. Take the breakfast for only 7€ and you will not regret it. Very friendly staff as well! Congrats to the management team there. Good job!
