Faros 1 Hotel

We loved the cleanliness and the very friendly staff. They were there to please. We liked the on- site restaurant. Had dinner and breakfast there. Food was delicious and plentiful! Very near cruise pier. Great place for a before or after cruise stay.

A good value, clean, and well located.

I would give it a negative 10 if I could. I checked in 11pm before my cruise. As soon as I open the door, I was almost knocked over by the smell of smoke and what they sprayed to cover it up. I had requested a non-smoking room. They said all the rooms had an ash tray therefore no non-smoking rooms, so they should not have taken the reservation. I opened the door and window, turned on the fan and a/c. I was told they had no other rooms available. I called hotels.com and they were unable to help. I had no choice but to stay in the room. I was unable to go to sleep until 5am. I had a $3000 doctor bill on the ship. They had to give me 3 breathing treatments and 2 iv's.

I spent the night before my cruise here. I arrived at 11pm. I had requested a no smoking room. As soon as I opened the door, I was over whelmed with the smell of cigarette smoke and the smell of what ever they sprayed to cover up the smell. I was told they had no other room. He also said every room had a ash tray, so I don't think they have any non-smoking rooms. I couldn't go to sleep until 5 pm. I ended up with $3000 hospital bill on the ship and spent most of my time in bed. I lost my enjoyment of an expensive cruise because of the second hand smoke.

Overall great location and a good value. The reception desk and others provided great service. We would definitely consider returning to this hotel.

Reviews were spot on. This hotel was easy to locate, near the port, plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, clean and comfy. I would say no frills but do not be put off. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. And as for breakfast, you get hot drinks, water, orange drink, omelette, cereal, toast, ham & cheese toastie, yogurt and cake. All of that was brought to our table and it was €7pp. Incredible value and set us up for the day. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Very well-located (and priced) hotel in Pireaus with extremely helpful and courteous staff. Nice rooms. Bit of a trek from the nearest bus stop but cannot fault for a night before sailing to the islands. About 10 euros in taxi to Gate 7 but walkable at a pinch.

Brilliant hotel within walking distance of Piraeus Port & Zea Marina. Great stopover when flights arrive in evening and you have a ferry to catch the following morning. Super clean, easy check-in, friendly staff and reasonably priced. For the money, you won’t find anywhere better.

We stayed here for 3 nights before and after a cruise. The hotel was spotless and had good Wi-Fi. We had breakfast and evening meals here. The meals were excellent and the portions were big. Excellent value. The staff here are a credit to the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very friendly. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone.

A beautiful clean hotel. Lovely rooms and the most friendly staff I have ever seen in any hotel. Food is top class. Well worth a visit. Free WiFi. Great service. The only small issue I had was most of the beer was local.
