Caprice Vell Mari Hotel & Resort - New Opening 2026

We had an amazing holiday with my 3 year old and my 78 year old grand mother. We needed ground floor as nan has mobility issues we emailed in advance and was sorted straight away. We arrived at midnight to the resort and the staff were great. Clean spacious. The food was amazing lots the try. We enjoyed all the evening entertainment. Only criticism we had was the light outside the apartment block we was in never worked to entire time there so night had to walk slowly with everyone so there was no accidents. And the kids pool was freezing 🥶 my little boy refuse to go in. So we spent time around bigger pool and indoor pool. Otherwise was a great holiday! 👍

We absolutely loved our stay at this resort. We went for half term to get some final fun in the sun. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The animation girls were great with our three kids and made them feel special. For Halloween, they decorated the resort and put on lots of lovely activities for the kids: face painting, treasure hunt, pumpkin crafts and games. We found the food to be good with plenty of variety: always fresh salad, vegetables, fruit, and white fish available in the restaurant. Always a variety of pasta options with different sauces that you add yourself. At breakfast there were always 4 different options: cereals and fruit; full English, continental meats and cheese, Spanish pancakes or churros. We also enjoyed the evening entertainment, especially the circus act and the magic show. We would definitely return.

We have just returned from a week at Vell mari, 2 adults 2 young children. I wouldn’t recommend, the hotel grounds are nice but that’s about it. Food is the worst part, breakfast was ok - we like eggs so we’re ok! Lunch and dinner were terrible. Most of the time couldnt work out what the food was, never any labels so it was a mystery meat in sauce! Pasta is pre cooked and the pasta sauces too then placed on the side going cold. We had chicken once the entire week we were there, it was mainly pork. Pizza and chips are the best options- which for the money we spent is terrible. Even the ice cream they put out at lunch was lemon flavour - my kids thought it was vanilla so tried it then wouldn’t eat lemon ice cream! We ate out a lot. The hotel ran out of towels during our stay and gave us 2 towels for a family of 4- I caught the maid one day and she literally didn’t have any other towels and was just giving what she could to people- awful!! Drinks were the best part- except cocktails- they were pre made sugar drinks! Beer and spirits with mixers were good. Given the time of year weather wasn’t great- very mixed and the pools were freezing. The kids pool is totally in the shade by trees so when it’s not a warm day and the pool is freezing it’s unusable which was sad for the kids. Even the indoor pool was cold. We also had ants in our bathroom. Overall wouldn’t recommend and the hotel needs to work on the food. Rooms were basic but fine for what we needed.

Visited October, i actually quite enjoyed my stay here, the receptionist checking us in was lovely, the reception area was very bright and clean, the grounds was lovely and well kept, plenty of sun beds available throughout the day, plenty of availability on the all inclusive bar, we found the food to be fine on our stay, always managed to eat, the only thing that did put me off was how many people you see coughing and sneezing or picking there nose when there stood near the food and then using the utensils to top up there plate, so maybe some hand sanitiser would be a good idea to put around the place, obviously this is my own view, my child can be fussy but he always found something to eat, yes I do agree with some of the other comments that sometimes the food wasn’t labelled. My next part the rooms, we was pleasantly surprised at the size of the room and having a separate bedroom to the main living area, we had a ground floor, yes the rooms are dates but there fine for you need them for, it’s not like your living in there all day, my only down point was the bathroom, I do think that it needs a real deep clean in some areas like the tiles, around the bath and the taps. The workers at this hotel was all pleasant and always kept on top of everything, the restaurant staff are amazing and clean your plates away really quick. Plenty of public transportation, if you do decide to hire a car, there was plenty of parking available also, I would consider going back here.

The grounds are lovely, the room was clean, comfortable and quiet, a little improvement would be a kettle in the room, we did request one from reception but didn't get one (limited amount I think). Staff were helpful and friendly. The food was good, the fruit and salad were really tasty, baked bread also great. The children loved the daily freshly cooked pancakes! Lots of choice, so something for everyone. I personally get a bit fed up of the buffet style but we all ate well, the option of pool side food was also great if you'd been exploring in the morning and wanted a snack to tie you over until dinner. The fruit juices are overly sweet but the all inclusive drinks, the wine and beer were very drinkable! The pool is nice, did not feel too busy and you could get a lounger. The option of a warmer indoor pool was nice, although at times that did feel too crowded. Evening entertainment - mini disco entertained, we didn't watch much of the other stuff but it was a varied programme across the week. Location for us was ideal. A 15 min walk to Can Picafort, great beach, food options and souvenir shops. We used the bus from outside the hotel to go to Alcudia twice, very easy and worth a visit. I think any longer than a week and we would start getting a bit bored but for an easy, chilled week it was ideal and exceeded our expectations based on some more recent reviews.

Second time enjoying the property with my family. Animation team was just fabulous this year 2024 and my kids loved and enjoyed all the various activities. Thank you

Trasig vattenpump som hade läkt i garderoben. De tjockare filtarna var blöta första kvällen vi kom till hotellet. Smutsigt bakom dörrarna (stora dammråttor). Allt övrigt var toppen, speciellt maten!

Super Hotel with a nice area. It's a bit of old, but in general a super space to still. I can highlight the tennis court, which you can use for free.
