Samui Island Beach Resort & Hotel

This hotel was a total dissapontment. The most unfriendly, unhelpful and rude staff we have ever experienced. As soon as we got there the room they have is looked old and nothing like the photos do we explained that this whammy what we were expecting and the girl at the reception (who hardly spoke English) was extremely rude and said she couldn't help. We then went for some food in the pool area of the hotel and I think it was the first time ever I complained and sent food back. We had tgai food and it was the worse I ever experienced plus it was priced quite high compared to anything around. The room was poor, with an air conditioning unit that was old and made an incredible amount of noise. There was also a pond just outside our door which means that frogs were making loud noises all night and it was impossible to sleep along with the air con noise. When we left we ordered a taxi from the reception to the airport which is 5 mins away and they over charged us, we said to the reception girl that it's way too much and she just walked away. All in all, a terrible experience and would not recommend you stay here.

This hotel is just sad looking. Stayed 1 night as a stopover. The area is like a forgotten part of chawang beach (In a bad way). It has a beach front but not easily accessible since there is no sand to walk on. The only accessible way - by vehicle or on foot is by walking through the back streets and up the hill. It's a tired looking hotel, the breakfast was depressing and i would never consider staying here again, especially for the high cost relative to other places around.

I loved the room I had (a deluxe sea-view)- nicely furnished and comfortable, decent size and a big balcony. The common area was a bit disappointing- neither attractive nor comfortable, and really much too small for the number of rooms. Despite being right on the sea it doesn't have real beach- the sea comes right up to the hotel most of the day. The location is not bad- 5 minutes to main Chaweng by bike. Overall, okay, but I wouldn't go again.

The hotel has a bungalow section that is old and rundown, which should not be qualified at 3 star or any star. The hotel shows on their webpage pictures of rooms taken from the hotel part (not the bungalows) of the hotel. Therefore, when reserving the rooms you fall into a trap of making a 3 star room reservation and get much inferior ones.

Needing a hotel in Samui Island close to Phan gan for the full moon party, was the only one vacancy

Rooms not maintained. Safety box not in room. Floor is completely scratched,and garden view means half a meter from the road. Furthermore the beach access is not comfortable.

Location was a bit under developed but room was good. Occupancy was a bit low so wasn't much out for breakfast but they would make you anything. Minibar was super cheap so quite happy.

Stayed here for 16 nights Aug 2013 and I can only give good reviews. Due to my bf breaking his arm and unable to fly out as planned I spent the duration on my own and the staff made me feel so welcome and at ease. A perfect Location if you don't want to be in the centre of town and you can always walk/taxi or tuk tuk into town for a little nightlife. I stayed in a Bungalow and next time will opt for the hotel. Woks stay again

When we first booked this hotel we only booked for 2 nights to allow us time to look at other hotels. We decided to stay for the entire 10 days at this hotel. We were first offered a small beach hut but we were not pleased with the condition. I spoke to the manager and for just a few extra dollars we were upgraded to a room in the main hotel. This room was wonderful, with a great view of the ocean. We were sceptical of the beach at first but after walking up the chaweng beach both at night and during the day, our hotel offered the beach front we wanted. You had to walk out to the water but is was less crowded and the sand was nicer. Further up the beach at night and during the day the hotels played a lot of house music.... very loud. We enjoyed walking up there and having a drink but then we had the solitude to come back too. The location of the hotel was about a 40 min walk to the main district but we would grab a taxi... cheap or enjoyed the walk. I had no problem staying away from the main area and walking to it, rather then living in it. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.
