Second time staying in The Savoy because of the great location and lovely building. Good breakfast choice but the staff were overly keen on removing plates etc from the table whilst others in our party were still eating making us feel rushed even though the room wasn't remotely full/busy.

Our visit was for a funeral and out of season. Price per night was the same as when we stayed in season which was unfair given that the pool was closed (we were unaware of this until we arrived and had excellent weather); it wasn't possible to enter the pool area at all therefore we couldn't sit outside to relax and gather our thoughts either. The restaurant hours were restrictive in the evenings and it wasn't an easy task finding somewhere else to eat which we assumed was also because we were visiting out of season. Eventually we managed to get a table at Zephyr which is part of The Royal Yacht Hotel. Visiting St Helier again at the end of the month and have booked a different hotel as the bedrooms and bathrooms at The Savoy are also rather dated.

Staff were very attentive and welcoming. Allocated room with balcony. The hotel was conveniently located for the town centre and local buses. Breakfast was excellent. Also dined in the restaurant one evening and the quality of food and service was good.

The bedroom was rather warm and perhaps slightly too much furniture, making it feel cluttered. Pillows weren’t too comfortable, but personal preference. Fridge was also a little noisy in the night.
