La Costa Beach Club

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel was clean, and the condition of the hotel was very good. Steps away from the beach. Would certainly stay here again. The only negative thing about the hotel was the parking situation. They have very limited parking, so if you're out late, there may not be parking available when you return to the hotel. The hotel staff is very nice and will make attempts to locate a parking space for you, but there may not be any available.

I wish I could give this property five start but unfortunately there are not enough parking spaces for the amount of rooms this hotel has. The rooms are cleaned and spacious. The sofa bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped. The pools and jacuzzi are clean and warm. The beach is only a few steps away. Make sure you bring a whole grocery bag to make breakfast lunch and dinner because if you leave the property to go buy food, you will not have a parking spot when you come back.

I took my two college age boys on vacation & we really enjoyed our stay at La Costa Beach Resort! The parking was right up front by the office, with your parking pass & felt very safe to leave your car. I only needed to drive a couple of times to a Publix, which was about a 10min drive, and on a Saturday, I took the boys to the most popular beach in America, Las Olas Beach in Ft Lauderdale, which was a nice 25-30min drive, but well worth it! Other than that, we walked to the places we found around La Costa, to Lucky Fish near the pier & a couple of complexes down from La Costa is a hidden gem of a place called The Tiki Bar & Lounge at Seaside.. the outside bar was full of locals & vacationers alike. The bar outside by the pool was great ambiance, and the food was incredible! Also, the bartenders were wonderful and welcoming!

Great location right on the beach

Overall, the property was pretty good. Nice pools, beach just outside the door, quiet, updated furnishings, nice towels. I’d highly consider staying here again as long as not in the 1 br unit I rented in on the first floor. The unit was clean & updated. However, the moment I opened the door, I knew it had been a former smoking unit or had been smoked in previously. I’m a non smoker, so although it was subtle, it was there. Had I not been running late for my meeting & needed to change and go, I would have asked for another unit. As it was, I stayed just 2 nights and was really only sleeping there and my coming & going were after office hours. If there is a heavy rain, the sidewalk at the door floods. Had flats on for work & the flood was so wide and deep, I had to step in water to get in.

A good overall experience; property and room were clean and comfortable, well-equipped with everything we needed. Having (an) onsite dinner options and / or evening entertainment by the pool(s) would have made the experience “excellent”.
