Lovely Georgian building with spacious rooms, a garden & parking. We will return when the museum re-opens. Good accessibility to airport & Glasgow.

I wish we could have stayed longer. I even offered to leave my family and stay on to help because I didn’t want to leave. (Kind of kidding.) After a whirlwind trip with lots of stops, this was our last place before we departed the UK. We decided last minute to stay at Ashtree in Paisley instead of staying in the city, and it was our best choice of the trip. Our room was beautiful and charming with a big window overlooking the garden. We had tea and coffee and hot chocolate in the room, plus cookies! The bathrooms was luxurious, with great water pressure and a nice and hot shower while looking out to the sky. We enjoyed some beers while we played some games in the parlor before we went to bed and got to meet some other tourists. In the morning, we were greeted with the most delicious breakfast, made to order! Maureen, one of the owners, could not have been more gracious, caring, and kind. We felt so cared for. In a world of automated check-ins, this experience at Ashtree reminded us of why the human touch is so important. It elevates the experience and shows us that when we connect with other people, our journey is that much more meaningful and memorable. I would come back just to stay in this lovely inn.

The Ashtree is an absolutely gorgeous property, the pictures do not do it justice. From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed and cared for. My room was filled with charm and I had a beautiful view looking down onto Paisley. The chef was so kind and made the most delightful meals. I was genuinely sad to leave and say goodbye to the lovely owners. I HIGHLY recommend staying here.

Nice room but insufficient towels for two people, and bathroom extractor fan did not work - meaning no ventilation in windowless room. Heating was very high- welcoming but not eco-friendly. Breakfast was decent, though service not very quick.

This place is a gem! I hesitate to say more because I want to keep it a secret!

We took our grandson for the weekend for the Halloween festival. We had a police escort to find it, due to all the road diversions. The hotel was just as welcoming as the local people. Spacious room with original features, warm and cosy.

Accidents booked for the wrong amount of people, was told to hang tight and they would still accommodate us. Spectacular service , without a doubt would come back .

The character of the place has remained constant since it was built @ 1790; with the updated 21st century access ... internet. Tv, etc. ... the reading room is a must do!
