Ashtree House Hotel

The location was good in Paisley and the room itself was nice. But it had a strong chemical smell that was unpleasant and a bit nauseating. The real disappointment was the included breakfast. We had early flights so arranged, we thought , for breakfast at the 7:30 start. They weren’t prepared and thus we got tea/coffee and a croissant. Then, on departing we were given a bill for £20 for four tea and store bought cookie packs which we thought were complimentary. The lady was very unpleasant when we explained our misunderstanding and our disappointment on breakfast. She was anything but apologetic.

We liked the Ashtree House Hotel. The room was very nice, with plenty of space. The owners were very friendly, and the bar , breakfast space, and sitting room were great

Staff very friendly and food excellent. Bathrooms recently renovated. Bed not comfortable

My 3rd time here in 10 years. Very convenient for coming and going from Glasgow airport. Beautiful grounds.

A gorgeous old hotel with immaculately manicured rooms and perfectly warm, sincere service. My only regret is that I wasn’t able to stay there longer. A boutique hotel lover’s dream.

I really liked this hotel. It was very comfortable and I loved sitting in the garden on a warm evening. Room was very nice and clean. Walking distance from sites and transportation

This property is in need of some serious TLC. It is old, rundown and not cleaned well. On the posits side, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would not recommend this property to anyone visiting Glasgow

some years ago I had stayed here and had a wonderful meal in the dining room. Unfortunately, through Covid, evening meals were no longer offered due to lack of staff and the surrounding eating establishments were pretty grim. Hotel was still very nice and everything clean.

The place itself is clean, staff are friendly and the room was comfortable. The only issue is that my gps wouldn’t get me directly where I needed to be, and the area around the place is questionable. As a solo traveler I didn’t feel safe in parts of the city and a lot of the food places were closed. Hotel was perfect, area was questionable.
