Amblehurst Hotel

Although it was for one night, everything was great.Nice experience.

Friendly service and good location for our needs, but overall a very 'tired' hotel in need of a lot of upgrading. Our room was spacious and clean, but scruffy and lacking in lots of small things e.g. tv remote control not working, bathroom mirror cracked, no plug in hand basin, no hooks or towel rail in bathroom.

I stayed in a family room with my 2 children it is not a hotel to take children it resembles a rehabilitation/half way house the language and behavior of the 'long term' residents was scaring my 11&12 year old children, barley slept due to noise and the room backing onto the men's urinals for the bar, I would not recommend this hotel at all the only plus was the staff they where welcoming and accommodating sham the hotel was so drab and shabby resembling something from a horror movie

Excellent service and great value for money

Quite run down hotel. Basic facilities and no hot water in the morning.

Staff were incredibly happy and nice. Room was a lot bigger than I expected. Didn't expect any more or any less for what we paid. There were chips under the bed though from a previous stay! :/

Friendly staff, convenient location, but building needs update

This seems quite an old hotel. It's got high ceilings and needs some tender loving care all over. What I can say though is that the room we stayed in was roasting. We had two wall radiators and two portable radiators. Obviously the hotel have thought about the happiness of its guest and acted upon it. There's a lot that needs doing but for the price so close to Manchester, we thought it was fantastic value. Breakfast was really nice and warm. The portions were great. As much as you wanted. Rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. Just remember. If you want the Hilton, you pay Hilton prices. Thank you Amblehurst. We will be coming back.
