Radisson Blu Hotel Zurich Airport

Shocking service for a hotel that is supposedly a four star hotel. No robe or slippers in the bathroom -which I only discovered when I had gotten out of the shower. Called down for one, as well as some room service (from the room service menu on the tv) and then waited....... 10 minutes later I received a call from room service to tell me I either need to pay 12CHF for someone to bring me my food, or I can 'come and get it myself...! I told them 'I'm sitting in a towel waiting for a bathrobe, and why on earth would you ask me to pay 12CHF to service to my room when the entire concept of 'room service' is that it is service to your room? The lady at room service was very apologetic and said 'yes it's ridiculous and everyone complains but | totally understand. then called reception to chase my bathrobe which had now been 25 mins late. I asked about this 'fee' for someone to come up in the elevator with my food and her answer was 'all hotels do this' (not true, I travel weekly!). She then suggested I should come down to collect my bathrobe! Finally someone arrived with my bathrobe but no slippers, so then I had to wait again for some slippers. I decided to use the ‘Jeeves’ snack robot and order some snacks instead. Guess what? ‘This service is currently out of order’. So I got dressed, walked to the airport Coop and bought my own dinner. If you want to charge people to bring room service to a room then include the cost in the menu items. This is a small hotel with about 30 seconds trip between my room and where was told to come to to 'collect my food' - that's not an exaggeration! Out of principle I am not prepared to pay someone 12CHF to bring a 19CHF caesar salad up in the elevator for me, nor am I prepared to go downstairs in a bathrobe and slippers to collect my own 'room service' from a 4* hotel! Nor am I prepared to accept that a hotel can call itself a 4* when there is nothing in the minibar even when the minibar service is out of order, and there is no option to have ‘room service’ without paying someone to come up in the lift to bring it, nor is there so much of a wine glass in the room for your cheap Coop screw top that you have to resort to. SHOCKING. I will never ever stay here again.

The room was very dark/poorly lit. Walls were dirty (scuffs everywhere & children’s stickers on wall). Sink and toilet were stained/worn/peeling finishes. Dirty frayed rug. Basic amenities were lacking, including no washcloths and a low-quality hairdryer. Most concerning, the outside door handle had exposed electronics! Overall, the room felt neglected and in need of significant repair and attention. Gross and expensive.

1. The lighting in the entire room was horrible. I had to use my phone flash light to see things inside my suit case. Please upgrade your lamp bulbs and add over head lights. 2. Bathroom was not stocked with fresh toilet paper. Both rolls were almost empty, 3. No wash clothes had to ask. I will not stay here again.

Great that the hotel is within the airport complex and walkable but that’s all I can recommend. Long lines at checkin added to a very long process. They seem to have lost a package I had sent to the hotel but found it the day after I left and now can’t ship it because of tariffs.

Like I mentioned everything was fine with my stay with you all besides the gentleman at the front desk when I checked in.

We stay at the radisson blue Zurich hotel each time we travel. The hotel's location is excellent and the room is spacious enough. The check in and checkout is efficient and smooth, breakfast is adequate. So far no issue. The issue arise when I really needed to contact the hotel. In the midst of departing in a hurry, I left my bag in the room. I noticed only at the airport after the security check. So me and my husband tried to contact them. It goes through the call center, going to supposedly the reception. However, each time the call was disconnected as no body was answering the phone. We tried more than 10 times. We tried all the possible options we could within the call center options. Nothing worked. Nothing. Luckily I do not believe that I have something important in the bag, so I sent an email and now hoping they receive the email, and reply to my email. I didn't receive even an automated email confirming that I am addressing to the right channel. In this part, the hotel fails grandiosely and I will reconsider in the future when I need to reserve a hotel near the Zurich airport.

Just for a night staying , and I had to be near the train station. Good location, felt safe, clean room and beautiful decorated.

Horrible hotel. The rooms are so dark and gloomy. The reception staff is so arrogant and there is zero hospitality or customer service from the staff. This shows probably how toxic the management must be at Radisson Blu. Would never ever stay in any Radisson Blu thanks to this horrible hotel. Not worth the money. Spend your money elsewhere.

Very friendly and comfortable. We stayed overnight because we had an early morning flight. We have done this before. It takes some of the stress out of international travel. Anytime I have to catch an early morning flight I will try to stay here. I have stayed at a hotel in the circle but this is much more convenient. My wife lost her footing on the escalator as we were leaving. She nearly fell but I was able to catch her. My suitcase tumbled down to the landing and was damaged. Next time I will find the elevator.

My recent stay was quite disappointing. Dirty and unsafe room, covered in dust, and electrical wires exposed. Front desk would not provide us with a second suitcase stand, saying there was a shortage. The breakfast chef did a poor job of making a simple omelette. His omelette was uncooked liquid eggs in the middle and he forgot the cheese. My mattress was leaning to one side and I kept sliding towards one edge. I'm thankful my stay was only for one night.
