This hotel is located on a lovely stretch of beach with nice ocean breezes throughout the day. It has a pool and a nice restaurant with good food and reasonable prices. Full breakfast is served every day! It is about 45 minutes walk along the beach to Cabarete where there are many eating, shopping and entertainment.
Enjoy the beach on town, the one on front of the Hotel is use for kite sport fans. The Deluxe room in [...], were not deluxe. We have to paid on front desk for an upgrade and the upgraded room was a small studio and the air conditioning did not work as expected. After talking with the front desk they showed different rooms and they offered next door room with nice A/C and a living room. Cabarete is way better than Santiago or Boca Chica in Santo Domingo. My partner and I enjoy the people, the party, and the dancing a lot. We are planing to go back.
We stayed at the hotel the middle of May and we almost had the place to ourselves. It was very relaxing and quiet. The breakfast was good with great omelets! The owner was very accomodating. She let us keep our room a few extra hours after checkout and gave us a room with a great beach view that we weren't expecting when we arrived. It's a realitively small complex and is about a 2 mile walk down the beach to the restaurants and shops of Cabarete.
Great location to go kiteboarding, amazing little hotel on the beach, very friendly staff and great people staying there.
The best part- friendly, english speaking reception and the included breakfast The worst- we rented an apartment and the kitchenette was so inadequately stocked that we couldn't make a meal. The bed was small and the pillows hard. The living room furniture was falling apart and not comfortable.
The hotel is a quick scooter taxi ride away from Cabarete, which is a very safe and clean tourist area with one of the best restaurants that i have ever been to. The name of the restaurant is called Casanova and they have a half price on everything on teh menu from 4pm to 6pm and the setting is wonderful and the food is even better. The towns people in cabarete does not hassle the tourists, and Sosua has a great party strip. If you are looking for an experience that takes you outside of the resort then these areas are a great place to go.
good hotel, good location!
The hotel is located on the beach, "Kite Beach", good for kiters and they also offer lessons. The room was basic, but very clean. the bedding is comfortable, very good for the price. There are larger rooms available, but Cabarete is a great place to go out for lunches & dinners...lots of cool places to go! Breakfast is included, met other travelers who were satisfied with the place.
Friendly Staff. Except from construction noise it was nice and confortable. Close to beach and my sports activities.
If you're heading to Cabarete for kiting, this is the spot. Just pop out of your room and onto the beach. Also close enought to town to walk up the beach. The service was great...everyone was very friendly. Previous reviews of theft are overblown, I think. We felt very safe leaving valuables in the room. Free breakfast was a big bonus. All in all, a super deal.
