Good location, adequate accommodations

No one showed up at the desk for 20 minutes when I came to check in. Not enough soundproofing for rooms. Too much fragrance in room, like I’m cleaning products or room freshener. Price too high for what I received.

Better than average breakfast with eggs and sausage and biscuits. The front desk staff was great. Laundry facilities were good - only one set of machines. $1.50 isn't bad for a load. Our room was well appointed and well kept. The location is convenient to the National Park.

Beds were a bit firm for me. Our room had an elephant living over us - that, or there's a joist that needs looking at.

The hotel was an older building, in need of some updates. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and we did have to get their help with our room door several times. Breakfast was limited. Location is good as it is between several roads into the New River Gorge NP, which was the reason for our stay. Several places to eat nearby as well as a grocery store. Location is very good.

Rooms need updates, especially new carpet. The exterior of the building also needs some attention. Breakfast was minimally ok at best, not much selection. The staff, however, were all nice, friendly and helpful.

Nice property - clean public spaces, clean rooms, quiet, affordable, and awesome staff. Have stayed here in the past, usually a few times a year and have always had a positive experience.
