KievRent Apartments

My 5th time with Kievrent apartments. You can't specify which apartment you want(they have many ALL very,very central. This one has seen better days. Nobody has cleaned the freezer since I last defrosted it 6 months ago. One can no longer enter via the secure front door as it has been "broken for some time". You enter via the (always open) back door. Kievrent keeps apartments clean but performs little or no maintenance. 2 years ago the prices were a little high but the quality was "up there". Sad to say (with this apartment anyway) they no longer appear to care. There's more competition now so I will be using another company next time(via Expedia of course as I appreciate the security).

Only disappointment was we asked for 2 apartments together and they were a good 5 minutes apart from each other.

Apartments are beautiful. Wifi works well, although it is only free for the first 200MB which I did not expect. Staff is nice. Great location!

Bis auf die Bettwäsche, die Löcher hatte aber gereinigt war, hat uns das Apartment gut gefallen. Es war sauber, komfortabel (großzügige Räume, Internet, Küche) und die Lage des Apartmentgebäudes war nahezu optimal. Wer sich von dem nicht einladenden Innenhof nicht abschrecken lässt, bekommt gute Leistung für sein Geld.

The apartment was in a great location and was large enough for our whole family. I would stay here again.

Great location. Hotels are very expensive in Kiev, this apartment was very well priced and clean. Air Conditioned, which was nice on the hot days. Office is across the street from the apartment, easy to get to and could leave bags in the office for late checkout!

I had to spend the night in Kiev and catch an early flight. Decided to spend the layover time in downtown Kiev and see the downtown area. Great location for tourists. Everything within easy walking distance. Friendly English speaking staff. Older building but inside apartment everything was nice and room was very clean. If you are staying for a few days, or long term, the apartment has everything you will need. Would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was comfortable and had almost everything we needed, We stayed for two nights between going on a tour of Chernobyl. Well located in the middle of the main tourist area of Kiev, only a short walk up the hill from Maidan Nezalezhnosti (Independence Square) and the metro station, with the famous cathedrals 5 minutes away, and plenty of nice restaurants nearby, as well as food stores. No noise issues, everything was clean and plenty of room for two people. Downsides: finding the apartment was tricky - the instructions from Hotels.com said to go to their office in the middle of town, but we couldn't find anything there. We ended up going to the address listed on the website instead, found the office there so we could collect the key. Hot water was a bit difficult to get working, but was fine once switched on. Major disappointment was the promised washing machine not working: we had been counting on the ability to wash our clothes. We gave up on arranging other laundry arrangements with the people at the office, due to language barrier. If you don't know Russian or Ukrainian you might be in trouble just checking in - we didn't test their English skills at all.
