KievRent Apartments

The apartment was very nice inside. The room was on the fourth floor up very steep and old stairway but the room was very, very nice. The location was within 2 blocks of downtown in a safe neighborhood. I would recommend this hotel.

Had to call and request maintenance to get hot water problem addressed every morning. This complaint was raised in a previous review and I figured the company would have fixed the problem. Obviously not. The location is fantastic, the building is old and the courtyard a bit scary. You can do a lot better for what you pay. I wont be staying here again.

Very disappointing, specially as this was the second leg our our Kiev stay. The first time, we stayed at KievInn which was cheaper and MUCh better value for money with a better location, hence we were VERY disapointed. The building entrance is totally dodgy and badly kept. The check-in details are wrong so we got dropped off far from the reception, which is also on a very dodgy building. The flat is across in another very dogdy looking building. The bed mattress is of such poor quality, you are guaranteed a backache. If this is the budget you can afford, I'd recommend the KievInn without a doubt.

Very comfortable and close to the centre. The apartment driver was very friendly and efficient.

The apartment is on 3rd floor in a recessed courtyard off Malaya Zhitomirskaya which leads to Independence square. There is no lift - so, if you don't like climbing this apartment is not for you. Like most Kiev apartments the exterior belies the interior. The photos on their website are an accurate representation - (Apartment ID# 2022). High ceilings, modern decor, good quality heating. Sat-Tv, Internet. Shower/bath. Kitchenette with hotplates, microwave, fridge, kettle, welcoming Tea+coffee. Loads of cupboard space. 3 doors away in the main street is a pub/club and loads of 24hour coffee/snack places. Up the hill (60 yards) is Sofiyska Square and St Sophia's cathedral. Also a small, reasonably priced supermarket - next to imperial hotel - for provisions. The staff of KievRent speak excellent English and were very helpful. Their office is located almost directly opposite the apartment courtyard. To my mind the price is about 10 euros per night more than it should be... but, the central and convenient location compensates. Have used this apartment twice. Would recommend for romantic weekends. Note their prices shoot up during Russia/Ukraine holidays.

Location is very convenient to all shoping. Staff is very pleasant and helpfull. I wish the kitchen was bigger and with oven. Sometimes did not have hot water and there was no warning about it. Otherwise it is comfortable place to stay, every thing is in walkig distance. I can't wait to go back!

The unit I stayed recently was not suited for a comfortable stay. Cables were all over the floor in the hallways and bathroom and walls.

Stayed in 2 apartments in Kiev during a business trip. The 1st apartment was very very nice - great central location and well kitted out inside. A negative aspect was that even with the the help of technical support I could get the TV to work properly. The only other things that I would have liked is to have had some basic food stuffs already stocked (milk, sugar, coffee, mineral water etc) and a guide to Kiev bars, restaurants etc provided. The service from the central administrative office was good and very friendly. A very good alternative to the expensive Kiev hotels.
