Room was not clean when we checked in. Soup and candy all over the carpet

Kudos for the staff, especially Ray M. at the front desk who helped me get a room location that I preferred. The kitchen staff was also exceptional. The room was great...the WIFI did cut in and out at times, but I was able to work mostly non-stop. I highly recommend this hotel, the location is perfect if you are doing anything in Catalina State Park. Felt very safe where the parking is, too.

Just the WIFI was iffy some nights, that's all.

Didn’t realize it was one king and sofa bed vs two beds although they had sent email expressing they couldn’t meet that request. We just didn’t read it

Comfortable stay, but ready for a refresh Overall, this was a pleasant stay at this Holiday Inn Express. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean, and I appreciated the free parking and free Wi-Fi. They also offered a nice continental breakfast in the morning, which was a good way to start the day. While the bathroom counters were spacious (which I liked), the water pressure was just okay. All in all, it was a comfortable and convenient place to stay. With a refresh, this could easily be a stronger experience.

The property is definitely in need of a bit of a facelift. There was no drain cover in the bathroom sink, the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling, and one of the sheer blinds over the window had been torn. The laminated TV channel guide in the room was very inaccurate, and there was no way to access a guide through the TV remote, so you had to scroll through channels one by one.

Secure, clean, accommodating staff.

Good location when visiting family in Oro Valley.

The bedding was a little stiff, a newer mattress would be great!
