Travel Inn

The place (I won’t even call it the hotel) was in a very rough area of town. It was dilapidated and appeared to be abandoned. there were no other guests at the time I arrived. Their idea of security was a gate with an orange cone blocking the stairway. It seems as if they were only a few rooms available upstairs over the street. I was not about to drag my luggage up two flights of stairs. it was very disconcerting, and quite honestly for a single woman, scary. I was honestly afraid to even go see the room. The only people walking in the neighborhood were of questionable character, and again very scary for me. I chose to cancel the reservation and was told that I would be charged for the entire cost of the rooms. But was then told that for a $50 cash payment, the clerk would make sure that my card was not charged. While that may have been their policy, it was very sketchy as it was the clerk, and I was not about to hand anyone any cash. I thought that Hotels.com at least vetted the business operators. It includes on its website. There is no phone number to speak with someone at Hotels.com about this and going through the virtual agent and a live agent did absolutely no good because the agent ended the chat while I was typing a long answer to his question. I had already spent an hour and a half miss and it wasn’t worth ruining my vacation by spending any more time. In 50 years of traveling, this was honestly the worst of the worst of the worst experiences.

I didn’t even inspect the room. I canceled and left due to the conditions. I was going to sleep in my car in Walmart parking lot before staying there.

The area is drug infested. The rooms has an odor to the room from previous dirty guests. The property allows indigent people living in the back half. We did not stay at all. Lost one day.

The place was filthy and loud people yelling the hotel slamming things around very disappointed and way way overpriced for what it was

For the price and time of year, it is a nice option for your budget....

Nothing was clean. It did not appear that the sheets had been changed, There were body impressions on the sheets when we pulled back the top cover. We went to the office to get clean sheets, and were give different sheets, they were not folded simply wadded up so there was no telling if they were clean or dirt. No toilet paper and was told by the night manager he could not give out any toilet paper. The sink had razer stubble and the tub had soap build up where one sits the soap and shampoo bottles. Dirty, Dirty, Dirty. Oh yes and most of this hotel is for long stays not overnight stays.

The desk manager was very nice, but the room was not clean, hair on tub and sink, mug on top of microwave was dirty. The quilt covering for the bed was folded and sitting on the pillows, making me wonder if the bedding had been changed or not. We were exhausted otherwise we would have went elsewhere. The price of the room was reasonable compared to the larger hotels.

Filthy, not safe at all

It is an aging motel that has a major renovation backlog. Best prop for a road movie. Bedding and bathroom were clean!

Last resort or very tight budget. My wife wiped down the tub before she would take a shower. No blanket for the bed. Just a comforter.
