The property was nice and close to my location.

What I did not like was that when I booked through Priceline, they never verified my zip code with my card making a big inconvenience to my stay.

It was peaceful and quiet, outside and inside. The staff were pleasant and friendly. From the check in to the cleaning staff.

I think they don’t clean daily if you’re an overnight guest so I had to go to the lobby a few times for Towels, I also didn’t know what time breakfast was until the last day because the weekday and weekend times were different.

The breakfast was really good and the staff stayed on top of keeping the food items full. We also enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub.

In our room, two of the drawers were broken and wouldn't open. Other than that everything else was great and our room was clean.

I get they are trying to fix up the property but it’s very outdated, bed was AWFUL, ac barely kept room cool, headed back to DeSoto end of July and won’t be coming back to this property.

It was clean and close to desired meeting location. The staff were great and very helpful.

The construction work surrounding it but that will pass soon. The Wi Fi was not that good.

The hotel, though in need of a bit of renovation, is in good condition, and the housekeepers did a fine job preparing the room even though there was a sweet smoky smell lingering (like from a previous guest’s marijuana use though I can’t confirm that). The Staff was friendly enough, but what really caught my attention was the huge pile of fresh vomit in the lobby (cleaned up quickly enough but still gross) and the fight in the parking lot the next morning. I don’t generally like to be around people who are that disgusting and low class. The property is in good enough condition so that the owners might consider raising the price. This might eliminate patronage by those who belong behind bars instead of traveling freely around the country. Additionally, it’s never pleasant to wake up next to an active construction site, but that will change probably over the next 6-8 months when the new building is finished. I’m filing this one under Will Not Return but not because of the physical property or the Staff.
