That I had a place to sleep

The place was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I’ve spent a lot of time in Marriott facilities and I based my choice of hotels off location, brand, needs for my travel. My assumption is that marriotts have the same standards of cleanliness across the board. The parking lot was not lit well, the building was under construction which I get. In fact the parts that were under co structure. We’re cleaner than the room I paid $180 for. Dirt build up on all baseboards, kitchen was lacking in what was needed to cook a meal, the air was smelly, had serious concerns of bed bugs but so far no evidence of them. Felt like my family had to sleep in layers of clothes because the place was so dirty. I didn’t want to sit on the couches either because they were stained. The pull out couch mattress looked like it had stained blood on it too. If I could have found another place the night we stayed there I would have left.

We were charged for two nights and only stayed 1 night.

To start, there was no warning when we booked the room for the weekend that the hotel was currently under remodeling/construction. No clear labeling that the pool was an outside pool in the hotel descriptions, so kids were petulant that they could not swim. Was hard to find a working door to even get in to the hotel to find where to check in. Most of the hotel parking was taken up by construction equipment or storage trailers. Once we got inside and checked in, the room had a funky smell. The elevator was jerky and lurched in quite a concerning manner every time it reached the 4th floor. There was a lack of clean dishes in the cupboards in kitchenette - had to clean things before i could use them. The mattress on the hideabed couch was stained and disgusting. The tv in the room woth the desk did not work. All the swtiches with gfi had to be activated because they had been tripped. Breakfast was quite sad and pathetic - no milk for cereal, quite limited options. If we had known, we would have just packed breakfast goods. The one baking tray provided in tge room did not actually fit inside the tiny oven - why even have it? No clear wifi password was included at check-in. The mattresses felt like they were not properly supported by the bedframes, and were not comfortable- woke up with neck and back pain both days of our stay. Highly disappointing hotel stay. Will not stay there again. Do not recommend.

This had to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It should be categorized as a motel six or Econo Lodge. This place should be shut down while they are renovating. I understand it is under construction, but this was not due to the construction work or dust at all! This place was absolutely disgusting! The walls were filthy. Every corner of every room had piles of dirt, dust and grime. All around the tub was mold. The bathroom mirror hadn’t been cleaned. There was splatters from toothbrushes, etc. on the mirror there was mold, growing on the side table beside the bed. The carpets were disgustingly dirty the toilet paper holder looked like it had never been cleaned as well. The doors were filthy. The fridge was grungy and dirty on the doors. We did not even shower due to the fact, the tub was so disgusting. The shower curtain was moldy. I don’t advise anyone to stay there in the health department should be advised and it needs to be reported! I think they should just shut the whole thing down, until the remodel is complete and then re-open. I can honestly say, I believe the towels in the bathroom were probably the only thing that looked clean in the entire room! The sink and countertop in the bathroom had dried toothpaste on it. There was toothpaste, dried, running down the side of the cabinet. The doors were dusty, had not been cleaned. This entire room has not been cleaned for years and has never been deep cleaned!! Turn around and go somewhere else!

The property was under construction so it is really hard to accurately review the cleanliness of the lobby. When we first arrived they gave us a room that didn’t have an oven and we required an own so we had to move rooms. The room we moved to had a funny smell and was not the cleanest. There were not enough pillows, towels or silverware in our room. Had the hotel not been under construction I would not return but since they are remodeling I would consider giving it another try.

I slept on the floor for 2 nights. I was advised my room had a bed and a sofa bed. When we got to our room we were told the hotel was full for that night. I was told they would try to work something out. The chair had dog poo behind it when I did move it. It was had so much animal fur on it that we had to use a sheet to cover it during out stay. The floors were dirty in the kitchen area and then bathrooms. I spoke with 3 people at front desk during my stay and no one ever changed our room or compensated for me sleeping on the floor.

Friendly staff, nice pool, good breakfast, clean rooms, had everything you needed available.
