Morabeza Hotel

An excellent example of how to run a hotel with maximum ambience and minimum bureaucracy. The service, layout, food etc. was perfect

Everything about this hotel was great but what made it particularly magical was the friendliness and warmth of all the staff!!

The hotel itself was lovely, great location fir beach and restaurants. The adult only pool was good for couples, executive room spacious and the bar area lovely. All th3 staff were friendly and helpful. However, there were a number of issues we encountered. 1. The hotel really does not cater for vegetarians/vegans, but the nearby restaurants do. So do not book half if full board if you are vegetarian/vegan. 2. The breakfast are is plagued by flies. The hotel cannot do anything about that, but they do NOT cover the food (hot, cold or even bread). We saw flies all over the food which is not very healthy. 3. Minor point, but our room was not cleaned for 9 out of the 10 days until 2pm. The cleaner worked hard but they only had one doing the rooms on our area.

Morabeza is a relaxing hotel which although spread out across a wide area, only has about 120 rooms.. the rooms are spacious and the pool areas excellent. The food at the Beach bar and the Happy Hour in bar La Tortue are exceptional.. with its location by the beach in Santa Maria this is so much nicer than the All Inclusive monstrosities further out of town. Staff are friendly and excellent.

Beautiful hotel, quiet and relaxing. Choice of 3 lovely pools as wells as the beach. Excellent food. Friendly staff.

It was a lovely hotel in a great location with lotsof facilities. The staff were all very friendly and breakfast was great with a huge variety.

Football after 16 hrs in front of the Beach bar/ restaurant greatly devaluate this nice hotel, since it may, inclusive , hurt guests .Further more, it appears that the "players" are hotel staff from the jet and sailing divisions.

Excellent hotel, wonderful food at breakfast (delicious fresh home made cake every morning and wonderful French toast as well as the usual breakfast fare). Possibly the best hotel breakfast I've ever experienced. Great live authentic music in upstairs bar area several times per week. One small criticism - there could possibly do with more staff serving on the upstairs bar as service was sometimes a little slow.

Possibly the best hotel we've stayed in at this sort of price. Really well designed, very clean and comfortable, lovely staff, excellent food, bar and facilities.

Lovely hotel, well cleaned and maintained. Staff very friendly. Free wifi. Second visit to the island and would recommend bed and breakfast instead of all inclusive as there are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance.
