Warm welcoming friendly staff. The hotel is very well kept and rooms are modern while keeping period features. Beautiful grounds to sit out in on sunny days. Close to town. Ideal setting for a weekend get away. Will definitely be going back.

We booked here for a 3 night break and we did indeed enjoy our time here . The team led by the brilliant Paula ( GM) looked after us at every step and from the front desk to the kitchen Chef Dan all made our stay very welcoming and pleasant. It’s not easy running an establishment of this quality, you were great Paula ...keep it up ! All the best.

If you are looking for a home from home with a little added luxury then this is the place for you. Although I was staying there for a wedding, it’s the perfect location to explore Snowdonia and the beautiful surroundings of North Wales. The hotel itself is my idea of heaven - more of a guest house with attentive and caring staff. Fabulous breakfast and steeped in its own history. Will definitely be going back!
