Plas Dinas Country House

Stayed for 3 nights. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Hotel has so much character, in a lovely, peaceful setting. Room and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was great, good choice and very fresh, well presented food. Easy to go for some nice walks or drive to lots of places. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

BEAUTIFUL SMALL COUNTRY HOUSE HOTEL. WE STOPPED FOR ONE NIGHT AND WERE GIVEN AN UPGRADED ROOM. LOVELY BREAKFAST AND A VERY WARM WELCOME.

Plas Dinas is a beautiful B&B in a lovely location. Every room is wonderfully decorated with much care and attention to details. It was the favorite lodging of our trip.

Felt really welcomed to the hotel by Paula . We were taken around the hotel and our room first . Lovely touches like home made biscuits and chocolates in the room . Molten brown toiletries and robes and slippers to wear were a nice touch . The lounge was lovely to sit in at night with interesting books and magazines and the honesty bar ! Breakfast was great the next morning with a buffet table with a full Welsh breakfast cooked to order. Can’t wait to book again !

It was a terrific stay, but had to laugh at the not so well stocked bar which allowed enough for one drink.

It was a great experience staying in this old historical venue. We had a very pleasant evening with 6 other guests in the lounge area. It happened to a birthday so the venue prepared a birthday cake that we all shared.

Wonderful authentic house and ambience, excellent food and service. The bathroom room did not work but they said they would look into it. We were told apparently that particular 'Peregrine' room only advertises a bath, although it does has a modern full shower and enclosure. When booking through Expedia we were not given a choice of rooms so we not aware of this clause. Other than this experience, we would highly recommend this accommodation.

After a tiring drive from the Midlands upon arrival I enquired what time dinner was served to be told they do not serve dinner on Sunday and Monday evenings. I pointed out that I had telephoned the previous week solely to book dinner on the 1st and 2nd October which booking was accepted. The breakfasts were tasty but all the people we spoke to said the breakfast was not hot. This was pointed out and not surprisingly on the next morning you couldn't touch your plate AFTER breakfast was eaten !!!!

Friendly and relaxing. Excellent dinners and breakfast. Compliments to the chef.
