Hampton Inn & Suites West Haven

The night staff was very friendly and cordial. The room had a couple of issues. The refrigerator was not cooling adequately, and the chair in the room was broken. I informed the staff about the problems.

Great hotel but in a very bad area and ridiculously expensive at $386.00 for 1 night.

Convenient location to UNH, Fairly clean,Texas Roadhouse next door, breakfast available, plenty of parking available are positives. Shade not working in room, TV was jumpy, extra fee for parking, no water refill stations, extreme price increase during college parent weekend are some disadvantages.

this was just what I needed for my short trip. It was quiet and clean. I was able to access dining options. One thing I would say is why have guests pay for parking when there’s a whole lot. Maybe just registering the car for the stay, or offering parking pass to hang in the car. However, it’s only four dollars a day which is better than places that charge 20+ a day.

Ok, not great. Clean but getting run down. Stains and chips on wall, floors dark with years of use. Needs major carpet shampoo and general refresh. Expensive for the condition

Stayed here twice in September. On way north to Maine and south to Maryland. Tried to cancel on way back but had a 48 hour cancellation. Sorta up to date but second time bathtub was dirty and towels stained . Breakfast not the best. Powered eggs and bad sausage. Second time there most of the food gone by 9. Breakfast till 10. I am a Hilton member and was not recognized at all. Usually at least get free water bottles….

When I checked into this hotel it was worn out and dirty. When I got to my elevator it literally had feces smeared all over the floor. We took a different elevator and when we got to our floor the hallway carpet was soiled, stained, ripped and food was strewn about. The room condition was ok- but we could hear the freeway cars all night long. I arrived too late to get a new hotel so I had to grin and bear it for the night. I travel for work weekly and in the last 12 years of doing this I am rarely dissatisfied / depressed with my hotel stay until now. I will be leaving early first thing this in the am.

Everything was broken! Pool light, Fitness Equipment,… Also my guarantee has not been payed back for some reason!
