Front desk staff (Frankie I believe) was great! Super friendly and helpful. Quiet room. Clean facility.

The 1st room I checked into 316 - smelled terrible like smoke. We requested a different room. Went to 315 which was fine. The pillow was awful! Like a bag stuffed with rocks. Could not sleep because of the awful pillows.

"Your room could get canceled even if you made a reservation months in advance"

I made a reservation 4.5 months in advance. 4 nights prior to my arrival I called the hotel direct to verify the reservation and was told everything was set. The day prior to my arrival I got a call saying I no longer had a room. I asked why, and why me instead of someone who made a last minute reservation? During the call I got 2 different answers - something about a new system and a busy weekend. I asked what they could do to make amends for this inconvenience since I was arriving the next day. They said they would not do anything. To add insult to injury - I got an automated Wyndham email the morning of my supposed check-in inviting me to do a mobile check-in. After my trip I contacted Wyndham customer care about what I felt was poor customer service. The hotel's GM then gave me a 3rd reason for the cancellation – this time leaky pipes. The reply suspiciously arrived 10 minutes after my Wyndham corporate complaint was logged. Is that a default excuse to everyone who gets a room cancelled? Again - why cancel on the traveler who planned ahead and made reservation months ago and still no offer for amends. Wyndham corporate eventually offered me 2,000 points for my inconvenience. That isn’t even enough points to get a discounted rate at this particular hotel, much less a free night anywhere. I'll be avoiding this property in the future.
