"Not up to Marriott standards "

Place does not meet Marriott standards. It needs a significant refurbishment. Carpet worn, walls with damage. First room we checked into was dirty, tub had a dripping faucet and had a bug running across the carpet. Switched to a different room. TV's left on in rooms which seems to be a waste of energy.

We were in town for an AAU tournament. The hotel was extremely close to Columbus State University. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby.

The location is great. It's not far off the interstate and easy to find. The staff was very courteous at check in and when checking out.

Upon entering the room smelled like mildew. The exterior window's screen was laying on the ground outside. The vent fan in the restroom did not work and hair was every where.

The staff was nice. The hotel had been somewhat updated, but the room had an odor to it. The location was good for us!
