The staff were amazing. We had a problem with our room and were upgraded. The night porter was so helpful and the manager sorted everything out in the morning. This is the sort of hotel where you just want to stay in. Room service was excellent for breakfast and the option to order in burgers.

The location is superb close to seafront, pier restaurants and shops. Parking very easy.

Broken bed had to move rooms, cleanliness of rooms dirty stained bedsheets, carpets and walls stained from water damage. Food over priced for sub standard cold meals very noisy communal areas no soundproofing. Very dated maintenance could be amazing with little bit TLC shame as the building is beautiful. Little things like no slippers or bathrobes details make all difference massive beds only two cheap pillows provided. Staff vary distance and unwelcoming.

It was all great. Jokingly I’d say, the seagull tapping on our window at 7am, but we actually found that funny! We had a problem with our bed and were upgraded to a full sea view for our second night. We had lovely breakfasts brought to our room such luxury! We had the burger delivered to our room on our last night. The staff were all amazing. Parking so easy around the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel for 5 * staff, 5* position, 5* view!

Stayed in a deluxe room,, with a partial sea view on the 4th floor. This room was perfect for us, it was clean and spacious. Finished to a high standard, we were very happy. The staff were very friendly a d the location is excellent

Location is fantastic, walking distance to restaurants and the pier.

The full English breakfast was not that nice, especially at £20per head, you would expect a higher standard. The orange juice was lovely thou, and the staff were very lovely. I think with a few tweaks in the kitchen it could be really nice.

Windows in room couldn’t be opened for fresh air and no aircon

Nice hotel, conveniently located, and a nice room with a partial sea view. Good tea etc facilities in the room, and a TV with a great selection of channels. Staff were helpful and accommodating, although being nit picky I would point out the faulty lock on the ground floor loo (so if you were desperate on arrival, as we were, you just had to hope no-one would try and come in), and we weren’t advised about the door entry code for when the front door was locked later in the evening, so ended up banging on the door and windows for five minutes until the solitary member of staff came downstairs. We both thought the bed was fantastic, but found the cooked breakfasts (in a beautiful breakfast room) sadly let the hotel down - an omelette each on the first day, and my partner had a full English breakfast on the second day, which he was unusually critical of. The buffet bits of breakfast (cereal, toast, juice, yoghurt, jams etc) were all fine.
