"Motel in Golden"

Ease of booking a pet friendly room, that they are a pet friendly facility, and ease of check in. Hard flooring in a pet friendly room.

The room while appearing clean, had a very weird smell. The room was small with the sink outside of the bathroom. There was three pillows on a bed for two people and they were flat and not comfortable, and the bed was creaky when you sat or moved on it. It was an uncomfortable sleep. The space seemed half heartedly updated. Appliances, furniture and bathroom fixtures seemed tired, worn and old but flooring seemed new. The breakfast area was dated and cramped, and the selection was minimal. The staff however were friendly and kind. The reviews online made this property seem better than it was.

the concierge was very welcoming, room was very clean with nice bedding and decor, good location, and reasonable price

the only thing that I think could be improved would be the breakfast in the morning, just to have more options and better quality of food
