Travelodge by Wyndham Golden Sportsman Lodge

The property was quiet, bed was comfy and room was clean. We appreciated that the lady in office offered a lower floor as soon she saw I walked with a cane :) however after driving 4 hours I needed to move:)

The pool was great, and the room was tidy, clean, and comfortable. Lots of outlets and tech was fairly recent.

How far away it was from the center of town, and the breakfast could use an update

The beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

The location was near a broken down repair shop and behind a closed restaurant. The rooms were pretty cramped with just enough space for one person to pass. The breakfast place had poor ambience and the food options for breakfast were very few with low quality disposable cutlery.

Very quiet location just off the highway, rooms recently refurbished. Clean. Excellent value.

Hot tub and pool a bit dated but clean.

Staff was great. Room was good "minus few things". They came to the door every night to see if we needed anything which was good of them. I would stay there again though the prices were great and the hotel wasn't that bad.

We had a room with the kitchenette which was great because we cook our own meals. A couple times I dropped tiniest meat out of pan on to the floor 5 minutes later I noticed it and there's about 200 tiny ants on the food it happened twice. Also while I was laying in bed I felt something on my arm and it was a tiny ant crawling on my arm. You got to make sure you don't drop any sort of food on the floor I don't know where they're coming from. Also I'm a very clean person so I made sure the room was cleaned every day but usually at hotels if you're gone out of the room which I was everyday, they will come in and clean it. I was there 2 weeks and my room was only cleaned once. Last thing, I did 4 loads of laundry while I was their and a few machines were out of service. The laundry room needs to be cleaned because it was very dirty 😒.

The breakfast was average. Maybe a gluten free option??

The advertisement pictures of the room were a far cry from what they actually were no cots
