Hilton Garden Inn Naperville/Warrenville

My stay was great. Room was great, breakfast was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Brian. Definitely would recommend.

Always a pleasant stay!

This was a week long unplanned stay made at the last minute when an emergency maintenance issue made my own residence unlivable for the foreseeable future. I cannot say enough about the people who work here, they are kind and caring yet professional and great at what they do. Specifically, Lisette happened to see me struggling to move all my things (including my very upset furbaby) and kindly came to my rescue even though that’s not her job. She even brought me all the way to another floor when there was a mix up with my assigned room. And when I tried to tip her as a thank you, she graciously refused saying it wasn’t necessary. Through out the week, any request made was instantly attended to and the whole facility is clean and quiet and in good working order (including elevators, pool/hot tub/work out room). I also want to give a shout out to Jorge, the hotel custodian/caretaker, who does an outstanding job and deserves a promotion. The care and attention to detail he showed every day whether working inside or outside was nothing short of impressive. Thank you to all the people who work here, you are the reason why this place felt like a home away from home to me.

It was quiet and clean. Could walk to nearby shopping if you wanted. Internet access was good. Easy to get around the neighborhood.

Das Hotel ist ok, um zu übernachten. Sauber und alles, was man von einem solchen Hotel erwartet.

Allerdings: Ein paar Tage nach der Abreise bin ich durch die Abbuchungen meiner Kreditkarte gegangen. Das Hotel war inkl. Steuern zu 100% vorausgezahlt. Auf meiner Kreditkarte befanden sich plötzlich USD 47.17 für sogenannte "Incidentals", obwohl ich im Hotel keine Leistungen in Anspruch genommen hatte oder Waren gekauft hatte und mir bei Abreise bestätigt wurde, dass ich nichts zu zahlen hätte. Die Sache befindet sich nach meinem Anruf im Hotel in Klärung. Ich schreibe dies hier, um andere Reisende - insbesondere ausländische Reisende - hellhörig zu machen. Prüft nach der Abreise immer mal Eure Kreditkartenabrechnungen.

What can I say it was an amazing stay friendly staff, dining options and nice sitting areas outside to enjoy the weather and close to target and Starbucks as in walking distance

My wife and I checked in on a Saturday night and went to our room to change and go for dinner only to discover that the toilet wouldn't flush properly, it just kept filling up and slowly going down, for the record I only went #1. I went to the desk and was told by Brian that it may just need plunged and he proceeded to give a pair of rubber gloves and a plunger to try to address the problem also stating maintenance was no longer on duty and management didn't schedule them for the evenings. I also explained this was not my mess, I'm not above plunging but not in a room that I just checked in to. After attempting to plunge several times and filling the garbage cans with water to try to get it flowing there was no relief. I went back down and spoke with Brian and asked for another room and he told me they were none available and made a call to see if they could get someone to come in. We were also told if one became available in the next 15 minutes or so they would let me know. I went back to the room and after plunging some more it finally went down normally. I went back down and told Brian that it had started working. He told me to speak with management in the morning when we checked out to discuss. I don't mind plunging my own mess but this isn't ours and we just checked in. When I spoke with management and explained everything she told me that she was still there at that time and would have dealt with it but she was unaware. When I told her he wouldn't move us to another room because they were booked she said they were to which I replied according to your website there are still rooms available. I've always had good luck with Hilton's however this is one I will not go back to hence the bad review. We didn't ask for anything to be comped, we didn't ask for a free breakfast or dinner, just fix our toilet or put us in another room. Instead were asked to plunge someone else's bowel movement down, and now that I think about it, how was it cleaned if it didn't flush, or was it even cleaned. Guessing it's independently owned and there is minimum invested back in to it and minimum spent on staffing.
