U Chiang Mai

We would like to give our compliments to Aun and the team for planning my parents' 50th marriage anniversary surprise when they checked into the room. She even helped me and my partner communicate with the airport when our baggage was delayed due to a failed hot transfer. We will not hesitate to book this accommodation again for our next visit!

My boyfriend and I were only in Chiang Mai for two nights and absolutely loved our stay here. The service and staff members at this hotel is truly what makes it 5-stars. Just a couple of examples: they have a super flexible check-out policy. They asked when we planned on departing and what time we would like to check-out. Since your flight wasn’t until 10PM, they let us check out at 7-8PM, just in time to get to the airport. They were super accommodating and understanding! Also, they have amazing breakfast options that are complementary: you can either go to the restaurant (from 7am to 11am), or request select breakfast sets be sent anywhere in the hotel and at any time. On our last day’s stay here, we had a super late start to the day. Thinking we missed breakfast (since it was in the afternoon) we decided to order some food from the in-house restaurant. The staff then called back saying they noticed we hadn’t had “breakfast” and could instead order one of the sets to our room. It was super thoughtful of them to go out of their way to check and ensure that we could get a free meal without incurring extra costs. A couple other items to note, the hotel does not have any elevators. So if you have knee/joint issues, this may not be the place for you. They do help bring your baggage to your room though.

A very nice hotel in a great location. Sunday night market is on the street in front. But…no elevator. My room was on the third floor and the trek up got old quick.

My wife and I stayed at the U Chiang Mai for our honeymoon for 3 days. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast in the morning. The staff helped us make our stay as comfortable as possible. Highly recommend.

We were right in the center of the old gated city. Were within walking distance to Saturday night walking street and a cool little bar with live music was just around the corner from the Saturday Market. The Sunday walking street was just outside our doorstep! Great activities on property and free bicycles. Staff was friendly and the free breakfast was excellent! We are already planning another stay in March. We found a perfect massage place with the best prices just across the street from the police station. Plenty of shops nearby and beautiful temples everywhere we looked. We felt like it was our other home!

Excellent service and spacious room.

Had an amazing time and the staff members were so nice and attentive. They always seemed to anticipate what I needed before I asked. They also remembered who I was, room number and what I drank for breakfast.

We loved this really wonderful boutique hotel. Everything was just excellent from comfortable and modern rooms to very helpful and charming personal. We really appreciated flexibility offered by the hotel which allowed us to taking rest and shower after challenging down-hill biking trip and extending our check-out till 6 pm.
