I liked everything! Easy check-in, great facility, adequate space in bedroom to relax, breakfast was fabulous, nice people, very clean, the bed was plush, front porch view is serene, claw foot tub was a spa-like experience

A lovely, charming bed and breakfast. I wish we’d had more time to hear of the inn’s history and explore more of the surrounding area. I was in town for a quick wedding, but the room was clean, comfortable, and convenient to my location. It was everything I could ask for in a place to stay overnight. An added bonus was the absolutely delicious breakfast and friendly staff.

Buffalo Tavern is a beautiful historic home in a peaceful mountain setting. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is amazing, and the front porch sittin' is good for the soul. We will definitely be going back. Susan and Paps have a very special place.

We stayed in the blue Governor's Room which was an easy first-floor accommodation. (A few stairs up to the front porch but manageable). The en suite tub was large and offered spa-quality items. Our only concern was the queen bed was a bit "wiggly" but comfortable overall. The linens and towels and bathrobes were super! Our hosts were absolutely wonderful! Yummy breakfast (we were asked if we wanted sweet or savory) and were surprised with a bit of both!) The ambience of the living and dining room areas was absolutely charming and we were greeted with a delicious dessert and the most well-stocked guest offerings of water, sodas, snacks and more! We would love to return if possible, and highly recommend Buffalo Tavern and West Jefferson for a restful getaway.

Truly wonderful time with Paps and Susan. Great Breakfast every day and homemade cake etc everyday! Not to mention the beautiful environs of the Tavern and the unique rooms. Will be back soon!

Loved the history about the B&B. The owners were awesome. Totally enjoyed my stay.
