The location was nice

but when we arrived at 4:30pm, mind you we drove in from Dallas, our room was not ready. The acting manager at the time Sarah was dismissive and rude. She tried to offer us another room with out a view like the one we paid for, but stated she couldn't change the price. Which made no sense. You offer us a cheaper room than the one we booked and paid for and now you can't change the price to the room you are trying to give us. We waited for a hour..then went to the front again. And the room still wasn't ready. We had our kids or bags everything. This was ridiculous. The front that night was no help at all. Then finally another 20 mins later they gave us another room. And it hadn't been clean. So we went back down to request another room. And it took another 40 mins to a hour to get into that one. That morning at check out we spoke to the hotel manager Chris. And she was way more helpful than staff from the night before. She was able to take off half the room charges. The lady Sara lied or at least she just didn't know what she was talking about, when she said she couldn't change the prices of the room if you are offer us less than what we already paid for. All in all I wished for a better experience. Not sure if we would return.
