"Snug - cosy yet fully equipped"

10.0

The room was so cosy, gorgeous decor and every last detail thought through. So although snug, it was perfect for my one night stay. The shower and bathroom were also great and the bed was very comfy. Lovely tray of tea and coffee plus some complimentary sweet treats, a nice surprise.

Needs another plug socket but it's an ancient building so I realise this isn't so easy.

"Lovely refurbished pub with big spacious rooms, and delicious dinner and breakfasts!"

8.0

The room was upgraded for us which was lovely. Nice big bed, very comfortable, with all the mod cons you'd expect and hope for. The breakfast was delicious, and the view out over Lewes and Kingston Ridge was lovely. The pub itself is so big, yet so cosy with different rooms and the main fireplace in the front room making the whole place smell amazing. Lewes really is lacking in places to stay, so I was very pleased to find that The White Hart had reopened with such comfortable rooms.

The walls are thin! Take earplugs if you are a light sleeper or get disturbed by odd sounds in the night! Our room was also by the metal pub sign, and I think it was so windy that the sign was swinging and scraping loudly in the night, it was like being in a horror film!

"Good place for a short stay at Lewes"

9.0

Close to the Lewes’ railway station, very clean and quiet, friendly staffs, good foods.

Due to the big building’s age, the floor is a little slanted, which is actually a bit strange for a person inside.

Lovely place, nice pub vibe and great breakfast

Pet hate...throws and scatter cushions....get rid of them. Chintzy nonsense.
