"This hotel is big and rambling"

6.0

The Londonderry Arms address is Ballymena but is in Carnlough on the Antrim coast. The drive there through the glens and along the coast is lovely but the hotel itself is in need of tlc. All the paintwork is in poor condition and carpet in our corridor was in need of replacement. Rooms are spacious and comfortable though dowdy. The food is fine and the service pleasant.

"Lovely Londonderry Arms Hotel!"

10.0

This is a charming hotel with a wealth of history! Complimentary breakfast is generous, and staff will provide alternate menu for dietary needs. Dinner is outstanding, as well. The rooms are not air-conditioned, but we were fairly comfortable with the provided fan. Cranny Falls can be reached directly from the hotel and is worth seeing!

"Londenderry Hotel in a quaint town"

8.0

We enjoyed the waterfall. Food was good. The room was in the corner with views of the side street and in the back side out of the bathroom a moldy roof. It was also VERY NOISY they clattered bottles under our window until 11:00 pm at night. It was warm so we had to leave the window open and no fan. The town people were very friendly. The town was very cute and quaint. I think a little expensive considering the type of room we ended up with. I loved Northern Ireland- the hotel was cute and quaint but I felt we probably were given the worse room in the hotel.

"Poor service, great parking."

6.0

Nice small Irish town. Fairly near the Giant's Causeway. Service was poor. Had a flashing bathroom light throughout our two day stay despite reporting the problem three times. Could not get any heat into the room.

Lovely historic hotel with many period house details. Beautiful front reception area and dining rooms. Very attentive and welcoming staff in hotel reception, hotel bar and breakfast dining room. Happy to take order for dinner, even though we arrived late and had just missed the Sunday 8pm last orders deadline for the restaurant. Gorgeous fire with tasteful furnishing and a good selection of newspapers and magazines in the residents' lounge area. However, the hotel is let down by old, scuffed painted internal doors, skirting boards, door frames and window frames in bedroom and upstairs hallways. In addition, the bathroom in room 203 had a beautiful, old and well maintained enamel bath BUT mouldy, old show tiles and sealant and no extractor fan (cause of mould). Comfortable beds but bedroom furniture would benefit from investment and improvement. Kettle in bedroom was covered in dust.
