Hilton Garden Inn Houston/Sugar Land

After visiting Messina Hof Harvest Green Winery and Kitchen in Richmond, Texas, we decided to enjoy an overnight at the Hilton Garden Inn. The staff is welcoming, and the amenities are great. We enjoyed the fitness center and the restaurant without even having to leave the premises. Plus the room was quite comfortable, and the breakfast buffet the next morning was fabulous. You don’t need to travel far from home to enjoy an excursion to fun and interesting places.

Staff is great. Sugar Land is wonderful area. Great Indian restaurant next door. Hotel is worn. My room had a lot of problems: Rusty shower curtain rod, broken safe, broken chair, broken lamp, wall picture falling apart.

Broken tub, shower was on 1st room, front desk guy seemed to hate his job or atleast seemed like it. 2nd room they refrigerator didn't not work. It was past midnight and our kids were tired, we did not ask for another room. Once we got ready to clear the room and checkout my husband saw a few roaches in the room. We sent a msg via booking and did not get a response from the hotel. Breakfast is not free if shown on booking, once we arrived we were told it was extra. It was not worth what we paid for the night.

I couldn't get a room close to my family

I recently stayed at this hotel and was very disappointed with my experience. The room I was given had a humidifier that wasn’t working, but no one informed me about this when I checked in. After spending an uncomfortable first night, I mentioned it to the staff and was then told there was also a leak in the room, which they had apparently known about. This lack of communication and attention to basic room maintenance is unacceptable. I expected better service and transparency from a hotel of this standard.
