Celebrated our 10 year anniversary at Joia Rose Hall and had an overall great stay. Check-in was smooth and we were upgraded to an Ocean Front room! Briana in the SP Club was super helpful and patiently answered all our questions. Throughout the week we met so many friendly staff everywhere we went. At the SP beach area Donavon and Shellisa greeted us each day with a smile. Alesia provided me with the best breakfast crepe each morning. And I had the best massage at the spa from Sasha. Overall we liked the resort. Food was good, the restaurants better than the buffets as expected. Although the Gala buffet on Friday was excellent! Entertainment was hit or miss with our favorite being the Motown Show and the Bob Marley show. Lastly I cannot thank our butlers enough. We traveled with 2 other couples and Valentine, Glen, Alain, Andre and Travis all made sure we all had everything we needed throughout the week...I'm pretty sure we had them running in circles a couple times. They really went out of their way to make sure we were happy and to make our stays special. Thank you all! We've stayed at both the Waves and Joia resorts. We liked different things from each. Looking forward to visiting again, maybe trying the Selection/Suites next time!

My husband and I stayed at JOIA Rose Hall for three nights in September 2025 to celebrate our 25th anniversary, and our stay was absolutely amazing! ✨ Our butlers, Berris and Ralston, went above and beyond—always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. We also loved chatting with Sharon from housekeeping, whose warm personality made us feel right at home. Every staff member we encountered was kind and welcoming, and the entire experience was nothing short of perfect. We truly can’t wait to return! 🌴💗

Great experience. Butler service and Spa service were top notch. Our butler Ralston went above and beyond. The Spa experience made the vacation even more worth while. Special thanks to our massage therapists Shenae, Patrice, Samantha and to Spa manager Mrs D.

Exceptional service, amenities and over all experience. I have never met a more friendly staff. Cassandra was working the bar the whole week of our stay and she continually went above and beyond. She was absolutely amazing. We will be booking another trip back soon.

As a longtime member, I will always recommend Iberostar. This was our first time to Joia Rose Hall, and we felt like royalty! Special shout outs to: Rennardo (the BEST butler), "Shelly" (the BEST beach concierge), Mellisa (the BEST beach bartender), Brianna (the BEST lounge concierge), Nadine (the BEST waitress), Shantal and Jenea (our respective masseuse). And a very special thank you to Valentine for going above and beyond the call of duty!!! This is our new go-to spot!!

Went to this resort to celebrate my 60th birthday and it was absolutely amazing. Honestly I can say it was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had. The service here is top notch and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. 10 out of 10. The property was beautiful and well maintained. The food was excellent and delicious. The rooms are very nice. Beautiful pools and I liked the proximity to the beach. I will definitely be returning very soon. I could not have asked for a better birthday trip. My room was decorated for my birthday and I was given complimentary champagne. The upgrade and butler service was the icing on the cake.

My wife and I returned to JOIA at Rose Hall for a 10 day birthday trip. We had been here several times before since our honeymoon trip in 2015. This resort remains the best possible choice in Montego Bay Jamaica (or elsewhere as far as we are concerned). The food is outstanding, with very impressive ala carte restaurants including a steakhouse, a Jamaican restaurant, an Asian/hibachi, an Italian restaurant, and a French/gourmet. Do yourself a favor and book the French/gourmet. Every item on the menu is outstanding with an excellent lobster bisque,lamb chops, coq a vin, and an outstanding duck dish, also Nicholas and the rest of the crew will deliver 5 star service while you enjoy. The Italian is also excellent with an out of this world lasagna with braised short rib, risotto and an excellent ossobuco. See if Alex can take care of you, he delivered great service and smiles. Also the resort coffee shop has a lot of treats, including the amazing Rassa who can whip up whatever you want. There was no problem getting a spot on the beach or by the pool any time of day. Theolyn and Seon and Anishka in the towel area are working hard for you all day long insuring your comfort. The entertainment crew is on the beach all day every day. Bubbles, Alrick, Lady D, Ace and the rest are running games and activities to keep you entertained if you're feeling active. You'll also see them in the lobby at night and at the shows creating fun wherever they go. For other club members, the members area is peaceful with lots of beds right next to the ocean and your own bar expertly tended by Melissa. Donovan is very professional and tirelessly working to make sure you get whatever you need. Shelisa does the same and is the life of the party hosting dominoes, lunchtime trivia and other events in the members area. The front pool is more of a party vibe. Shavon and Travis and Keresa and Amanda are tending bar and keeping things rocking. You also have the option of an activities pool with water volleyball and aerobics classes. There is a more serene pool behind the activity pool. The entertainment at night is good and sometimes great with artists performing almost every night at the lobby bar and then things like a white party, reggae party, steel drums parties after the in lobby entertainment on the beach or in the theatre. The resort is well managed but the people mentioned above and so many others working to make you stay flawless are what sets this resort apart from the others we have tried. They do everything to make everyone's trip special and unforgettable. Give it a try.
