"One of the most uncomfortable nights in a hotel, we wouldn’t come again."

The staff were friendly at check in and helped with any questions we had.The bathroom was clean and well presented.

The room didn’t match the picture that we booked. The picture made it look lighter and bigger. In reality it was in the basement with a tiny window. The bed was not comfortable and the pillows some of the worst we have slept in in a hotel. We barely slept. We could hear our close neighbours television and conversation and the cleaners woke us up early in the morning. The TV was very dated and the picture didn’t fit in the screen. There was a strange smell almost like body odour when we came back on the second evening. After all of this we decided to stay in a different hotel for the second night :(

Lovely place to stay with an easy walk to the main shopping area. We only stayed for 1 night but would have happily stayed longer. Continental breakfast was great and staff friendly and courteous. Very clean with tea and coffee making in the room. Beautiful building with lots of character.
