"WORST accommodation EVER."

Nothing.

Had no power on returning from a concert. And they knew about it. And we wernt told. And they would not refund my money. The worst experience with accommodation in my whole life. They lied about the incident. I explained the consumer guarantee act but would not listen. English not being there first language made everything harder. Over priced room. . Cramped expensive parking which was charged with out my knowledgeable. Could not in good conscious recommend them. Should be shut down............

"We were in Auckland for two nights to attend a funeral and this accommodation was perfect for that."

I've stayed in the Quest Ponsonby before and on the previous occasion the room was a disappointment (Studio, view of a blank wall). On this occasion I phoned ahead and was advised to request an Apartment with Park View, which I did, and that is what I got so we were happy with that.

Overall, the accommodation and facilities were clean, spacious and well appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. However, the lightbulb in the cooker hood didn't work and the batteries in the TV remote were on their last legs (we had to jiggle them around) which should be checked by Housekeeping staff on changeover.
