Location was fantastic. Accommodation not so fantastic

The room needed lots of maintenance. The balcony door was nearly impossible to close. The shower door and the soap dispenser inside the shower was broken The shower door cant open fully as it hits the towel rail. The bathroom door gets stuck on the ground

"Worst house in the best street!"

One of the best locations in Auckland.

Very run down, we had 2 rooms each with a bathroom. 1 shower couldnt be used as it was completely broken, tiles cracked on the floor, paint/furniture chipped & very tired. Fridge leaked water all over the floor which had to be continually mopped up. Carpets were "sticky" Sofas were worn & sagging, Internet could only be used by 1 person at a time & even then very slow verging on not working.

Power cut overnight meant cold showers in the morning! Maybe should have been told when booking?
