Ramada by Wyndham Iasi City Centre

My 6 year old daughter and I loved this hotel, she actually wrote her own note about how nice the hotel was and wanted to give it to the manager. She wrote “I don’t like this hotel, I love it!” The hotel was extremely clean, food at the hotel restaurant was EXCELLENT, very friendly staff! The WiFi was very spotty, we had a WiFi signal only in the bathroom. But overall we had a great experience!

Other than central location with lots of restaurants and attractions within walking distance, there is nothing much to comment. Room was small, felt somewhat damp but with comfortable bed, and the washroom was clean. There was hardly any wifi signal in the room and the connection was intermittent. Breakfast was decent and overall service was okay

This hotel could definitely had 4 and not only 3 stars, Room was very clean and beds were huge and comfortable. Bathroom was so clean and new - I guess it was renovated. Breakfast was the best of all other 3 hotels that I have visited in other cities of Romania. Plenty of choices and very nice delicious hot dishes as well during breakfast. I was really surprised that there was also soya and coconut milk for vegans. Dinner was also delicious... even the dessert in the end!! Only disadvantage of this hotel, was the small rooms. We were given a double room with an extra bed for our child but we could hardly move in the room! But still I definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice room. A/C didn’t work. Got stuck on 30.5C. Too hot. Desk manager could not help. Broken shower head. Former guest dirty socks, under the bed

very bad service, the room was dirty, horrible staff, the owner does not care about guests. the hotel's policy is no pets. no play room for children, the breakfast is plain and has old food, i almost had food poisoning. the toilet cleanliness is below zero. never again, the city is great, but try a different hotel, there are many others in the are, better than this one, and i know it because part of the group i was with stayed in another hotel nearby, Unirea I think or Traian.

Avoid this hotel! Poor service, rude staff, unacceptable behavior of the staff who kicked out guests because they didn't shared the same political views! You will find lots of good hotels in our amazing town Iasi, unfortunately Ramada is a shame for our country, and people who fight corruption!

The hotel staff has teamed-up with political police to harass some guests living in the hotel for not sharing same political views like the hotel management. They end up by kicking guests out. 2019 inside European Union!

Stayed here for two nights on a trip to Iasi for my wife’s birthday. Location is excellent but there are far better hotels in the same area. It’s really gone down hill since I last stayed 5 years ago. Staff and management training required urgently as customer service was just awful Reception staff really not very helpful, manager was walking around eating bowl of cereals and scowling at the staff when we checked in. We were given a really small room and when we asked for a larger one we were charged 140€ extra. Only bigger room available was a suite apparently. However quality of the bigger room was very poor. Faulty tv reported and not fixed, shower flooding every time it was used as there was no seal fitted. Definitely won’t be staying here again, I am amazed at its high rating which must be based on historical data.

It’s been 5 years since I last stayed here and it has really gone downhill. Check in was awful, the staff were really miserable and the manager was walking around eating a bowl of cereals and scowling at everyone who seemed to get in her way. We asked for a quite room on a high floor and got a 1st floor room next to elevator. The room was unbelievably small and when I asked for a bigger room I was charged an extra 140€. The bigger room was substandard, TV was not working, shower was leaking as the seal was missing. Reported the TV and was told ‘nothing we can do about it’ - shocking. The service did not get any better. Difficult to find positives for the hotel now apart from its location. Best avoided unless they get some serious staff training including management. How it gets such a high score is beyond me.

Nothing amazing to write home about, but no issues either. A lovely hotel, clean and comfortable within great distance of everything needed in Iasi - from the palace to the mall and restaurants. Breakfast and service was great, only minor annoyance was the lack of gym/ fitness facility. All in all a very nice stay.
