Holiday Inn & Suites McKinney - N Allen by IHG

The rooms I stayed in needed a deep cleaning. The room could also use some updating and repairs. The common area was nice and the restaurant/bar was very spacious and welcoming.

Goede kamer, goed bed, ontbijt was wat eenzijdig, maar wel voldoende. personeel was zeer vriendelijk (de mexicaanse bij het ontbijt was wat lastig te verstaan, maar ook dat kwam uiteindelijk goed!)

Het ontbijt had iets meer gezondere alternatieven kunnne hebben als brood met beleg of natuuryogurt ipv vette zaken en naar niets smakende wafels.

Bed was comfortable and I slept like a log!! Room was great We came to this area for haircuts Breakfast Food was tasty Check in and out well done!!

I was pleasantly surprised and happy that the building was clean, looked pretty updated and the guy that checked me in was very sweet. The room was very nice and the size was very nice. Rooms were nonsmoking YET someone was smoking weed on the 4th floor. I asked the front end manager and she said there was “nothing” she could do about it.”I can go into every room and check!” Then I asked about the breakfast and was told it was $5.00. She said no it’s $10. She said others have told her the same but it’s not true!!! I said don’t you think it might be worth clarifying. She said she guessed she’d have to have a meeting! No matter the physical appearances of a hotel, the staff should try to be more accommodating or at least pretend like a guests concerns matter. There is always something you can say or do to show concern for a guest

Everything about the property was amazing. I felt right at home.

The location was ideal based on the family we were visiting. The staff was very friendly. The only complaint is that the floor we were on, and the room we stayed in smelled musty, like a damp towel left to long on the floor. It also didn't appear as of our room was vacuumed the entire stay (7 days). The linens and towels were changed. Overall, it was acceptable. I probably will stay there again because of the price.

The room was clean and comfortable but the AC was not working well.
