Candlewood Suites Loveland by IHG

This was a very nice stay. I'll be back.

No breakfast was served as offered on the website.

No nightstand by the bed, no light by the bed. No TV remote in the room. I waited over 30 minutes for a remote and finally went down stairs to get one. The snow was not cleared from the parking lot.

There was renovation going on but John at the front desk really tried. First thing there was an odd message on our phone from December. I asked John & he said to disregard. Then, no remote control. John brought us one. Then, we couldn’t flush the toilet and found we couldn’t wash our hands either as there was no cold water. John called maintenance & finally at 10:30 we had cold water. It wasn’t the easiest stay and doubt we stay again but the beds were nice. Thank you John for trying so hard.

2 weeks into my 5 weeks stay, room has not been cleaned. Asked for it 5 times. The same for my colleaque. 2 others have move to a hotel nearly, another who came Yesterday stay there too. Our company has probaly booked 400 nights here in the past 8 months but im pretty sure its over now. The staff is simpely useless and lazy, you ask for them to clean the room and they write it down and say they will do next day, nothing happens. My colleaque asked for toilet paper, they had to go to an another room to find some. No trashbags in the Roms so mine i throw in the hallway, sorry to you other guests, and if your towel smell funny! No cleaning No toilet paper.

We checked in late and Johnathan was so gracious and informative. Brittany helped us numerous times with questions and extending our stay. Both of these employees deserve a bonus. The place could use a renovation, seemed a little dated, but it was functioning. There were a few little bugs in our room, otherwise a good stay.

The place was a total wreck. Rugs were in shreds, bed was barely made at best. It was so worn out that we didn’t even bring in our bags. The desk staff was wonderful, however. We were able to transfer our prepaid reservation to the IHG hotel next door. Everyone involved was very accommodating and we left the next morning feeling that we were nicely cared for. Turns out that Candlewood Suites hotel was scheduled for a complete remodel.

Poor service at front desk; management is no better than motels. Room setting is a mess, only had one set of supply for a reserved two-guest room. Room has a rotten and dusty odor. Will never book this place again.

Do not stay here. If not to spare yourself, do it for the staff who work for the horrible mgmt. team. While the staff who work here, excluding mgmt, were very kind, I was greeted by pubic hair in the toilet and on bathroom floor. Yep you read that right. Fun fact: the staff shared that the housekeeper recently quit so I’m guessing it was an inside job to send a message to mgmt. but we will never know. Sadly I’m the one who walked in on it. As if that wasn’t bad enough, air conditioning unit, toilet paper dispenser and shower head were broken. Oh and toilet didn’t flush so had to manually do it yourself. Spare yourself and do NOT support this mgmt team who do not care about their staff or your experience at all. They feel it’s appropriate to subject paying customers to these poor standards. Go elsewhere!

Poorly maintained property. Cabinetry and other items worn out in need of replacement. We reserved a room with a queen but got a full mattress instead. Initially they lost our reservation and it took over an hour and half to get it sorted out. There seems to be a decided lack of care from the staff and property manager. For example, somebody dropped a bowl of cereal outside within 4 feet of the front door on Friday and at checkout on Sunday it was still scattered all over the entryway. This lack of care permeated the entire site. Nobody cared. Would not recommend unless all you need is flat place to put your head. Certainly not worth the price.
