Atascadero Inn

The manager assured me that my $200 deposit would go back on my card in 4-7 days??? The day after that the transaction goes from pending to complete and I still have yet to get my deposit back on my card a week later. He was scandalous from the moment I checked in and I should have never stayed there. Life lesson- trust your gut instinct ALWAYS.

The room was ok, but the 2 pieces of bar soap were just slivers. The towels were small and thin, and the shower curtain was missing the first day. After the motel employee replaced the curtain, her key card use invalidated or overrode our key. At 9:00 at night we had to wait outside for the manager to come to the office to re key our card. I will not use this motel again.

Close to my event for the weekend

The room seemed clean but the vinyl flooring was filthy. After walking around with my socks on they were almost black on the bottom. Also my power kept getting turned off without notice. After a while I went to talk to the office but saw a maintenance worker working on an outlet at the washer and dryer. He apologized and said it will be on soon. Unfortunately this continued for another hour with the lights and tv switching on and off.

Bad, was dirty, no hot water, no circulation, room felt wet and smelled moldy….

Not worth the price. Office person Slow to respond to our issue.

No water pressure in the shower. Shower curtain dirty. Trash from previous occupants still in the room.

Atascadero is an emerging community. Cowboy boots optional. Cal Poly graduates looking to remain in the area are choosing Atascadero, Paso Robles and Templeton bringing an influx of creativity, innovation and equity. Atascadero Lake Park: walking trail, paddle boats, playground. Quite the breakfast town: the Nest, Huckleberry's, Country Touch, Cowgirl Cafe. Restaurants: Cielo (rooftop bar), Atascadero Bistro, Sylvester's Burgers. There are multiple breweries and wine-tasting abounds. Sculpterra Winery is a unique property with an amazing sculpture garden. Dark Star Winery = 8 pours for $15.00. City Hall is a beautiful historic building adjacent to a downtown park. There is summer? Fun, old-fashioned county fair. Interesting "trivia" fact: the notorious outlaw, Jesse James hid out in nearby Paso Robles. Enjoy an area of California with a true western spirit!
