The Baywood Bed & Breakfast

This place is amazing and Mike was so friendly and helpful. We had to leave early so he had homemade muffins ready for us. All packaged up that we could take on the road. They were still warm. Definitely come back. My wife just mentioned the beauty of the entire house and the grounds that surround it.

My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary. It was perfect! Nice and quiet. We enjoyed sitting on the private beach and relaxing to the sound of the water. Mark was very hospitable and showed us around the property. Breakfast was amazing. Our room was clean and perfect for watching a gorgeous sunset over the water from our balcony. We will definitely be back!

The view from our bedroom of the Chesapeake Bay was beautiful and the host was very gracious and helpful.

The accommodations are beautiful. The view of the water is everything you would hope it to be. The best part of my stay? Phyllis. She’s covering for the owner since he’s away. She is warm and friendly, a great cook, a great host. We talked for over an hour. Thank you Phyllis.

Mike and Sharon are incredible hosts! The property is very clean and well maintained. Peaceful! We stayed in The Lighthouse room. We enjoyed a lot of time on the balcony. The entire property is stunning. Mike is also a great cook - I cannot stop thinking about the spinach quiche he made one morning. Great conversation around the breakfast table. We hope to stay here again.

We lived the location and feel of the property. The balcony and view were amazing. The owner, Mike, was hospitable and super friendly. He made you feel welcomed and at home. The breakfast he made was delicious. I would highly recommend Baywood to anyone going to the Eastern Shore. Also, if you have children the playground area and private beach is perfect

This stay was wonderful. The host was informative and friendly and the location on the Chesapeake Bay was beautiful with an amazing private beach. This is a place for a quiet stay as Cape Charles is about 15 minutes north. The room was comfy and breakfast was great.
