Property was on the beach, with pools

Great location. Given the economy, the price is great for the private beach access. Rooms are a bit outdated, but very clean and sufficient for a stay. Staff is very friendly, offering to assist with carrying luggage upstairs. I would definitely recommend!

The sheets were full of hairs and stained (looked like blood). We asked for new sheets and we had to changed them. The dvd player didn’t work

Location was excellent being directly on the ocean. Our room was disappointing as it was on the ground floor and our "patio" was directly on a parking lot. We did not have a good "ocean view" and the room was just average. The bathtub was not inviting with discolored grout around the tub. It obviously had been remodeled. It was our first time booking here and we booked according to the pictures online. We were disappointed with the room location. I would make sure if you book here to actually talk directly to the resort to make sure you are booking a room that has the amenities and view you are expecting. The staff and cleaning crew were very friendly and were always busy keeping everything tidy and clean. There is not a restaurant on site and you need to drive for any restaurants and shopping. There were many excellent restaurants in the area. The Pancake Man was excellent for breakfast and for dinner I would recommend The Yarmouth House and Captain Parker's.

My wife and I had a great stay at Ocean Mist last week. I would say some of the lower negative reviews were certainly not our experience in any way. I didn’t give it a 5 star only because I consider 100% (perfect ) almost impossible for anything, but it was certainly a high 4 star rating. Loved our two queen bedroom with loft, plenty of room, bathroom was not nearly as tiny as some were saying, and the view (double balcony) and beach wave sounds at night were both spectacular! And a big shout out to Alex (Alexandra) in the office who was so very accommodating and pleasant to work with before and during our stay. We would go back in a heartbeat and already miss it. Thank you Ocean Mist for a great week!

Very outdated property. Ok to spend one night but def not more. For the money you paid, you’d think you would get a better room.
